Employee Assistance Services. Employee assistance services are intended to maximize employees’ ability to cope and remain productive during stressful events and life crises. Such services should be sponsored nationally and implemented locally. They include work-life problem assistance, such as drug and alcohol assistance assessment and referral, short-term family counseling and manager/union consultation services. Life crisis services include emergency financial aid and grief counseling.

Employee Assistance Services. The Employer shall continue to maintain an Employee Assistance Program. It shall be the policy of the Program to assist, in a strictly confidential manner, employees who seek assistance for alcoholism, drug abuse, family problems, psychological or other medical problems. This policy recognizes that these are treatable conditions and it is the employee's responsibility to seek professional assistance for them. Employees with such problems are encouraged to contact the Employee Assistance Program by telephone or personal visit. Any contact with the Employee Assistance Counselor will be strictly confidential. The Employee Assistance Program shall make an evaluation of the employee's problem and recommend remedies which may include referral to an appropriate treatment agency. It is the employee's responsibility to follow the recommendations of the Employee Assistance Counselor.

  • Employee Assistance Plan The Board shall make available to eligible employees and their eligible family members, at no cost, an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). Employee participation in and/or referral to the EAP shall be voluntary and confidential, except as to any disclosures required by applicable state law. All personal treatment records generated as a result of an eligible individual’s utilization of the EAP shall be maintained by the service provider and shall not be shared with the Board unless otherwise authorized by the eligible employee or the covered dependent, or by operation of applicable law. The contact person for the EAP services to be made available under this Agreement shall not be employed by the Board of Education.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract.   • Employee and Family Assistance Plan The CODC PRO Care Plan is an industry-funded employee and family assistance plan for employees and their eligible family members according to the participation of sponsoring organizations and employers as well as Plan eligibility rules.
