Employment Assistance Program. To assist employees terminated because of a plant closing to find new jobs and to learn new skills, local management will establish an Employment Assistance Program following announcement of a decision to close a plant. The Employment Assistance Program will include job placement assistance and education and retraining assistance.

Employment Assistance Program. The Company shall provide an Employee Assistance program for all employees (and their families) covered by the terms of this Collective Agreement. Employees shall have access to the provisions offered under the Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s EAP Program.

Employment Assistance Program. (a) The Employer will take all practical steps to assist redundant Employees to seek alternative employment and to adjust to the period that follows redundancies.
Employment Assistance Program. The Company will work with the employees directly affected and their representatives if requested to take all practical steps to assist redundant employees to seek alternative employment and to adjust to the period which follows redundancies. In this regard, the following assistance will be provided. By arrangement with the Company, employees with notice of impending termination will be allowed time off for employment interviews. Paid time off to a maximum of eight hours per week for day workers and 12 hours per week for shift workers of notice will be allowed. Any conflicts arising from the application of this clause shall be dealt with through the Disputes Resolution Procedure. A certificate of service, with details of skill advantages, will be made available to a redundant employee upon request. The Human Resources Department of the company will be made available to assist redundant employees in securing alternative employment. Employees will be advised that this service will be provided and will be available during the period of redundancy notice and for the two (2) weeks immediately following the termination. The Company will notify Centrelink to ensure provision of further support to employees facing redundancies. It is recognised that employees may arrange alternative employment during their period of redundancy notice. Where necessary the Company and the redundant employee shall determine a mutually convenient termination date. The Company will co-ordinate its Employment Assistance Program with the employees concerned and their representatives if requested to ensure that every practical step has been taken to assist redundant employees obtain alternative employment.
Employment Assistance Program. In the event the Company ceases all operations at the Wilmington, MA location, it will set up an employment assistance program following the notification of intended closing. This program will include retraining and educational assistance.

Employment Assistance Program. The purpose of this article is to outline the Employer's program in relation to employees whose use of alcohol or drugs is interfering with satisfactorywork performance. Nothing in the program negates or replaces the effects of policies or laws on intoxication during hours, or the use of alcohol or drugs on work premises. An Employee Assistance Program is established and the following provisions apply:
Employment Assistance Program. All practical steps to assist redundant employees to seek alternative employment will be made. The assistance will include: (a) A certificate of service and any other relevant information that will assist the Employee seeking employment, as soon it is practicable to do so; (b) A written Resume will be provided to the retrenched individual Employees; and (c) The Employer will do its utmost to ensure that financial advice is provided by the relevant superannuation fund.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Employee and Family Assistance Program (a) A province-wide Employee and Family Assistance Program for employees and members of their immediate family, with whom the employee normally resides, shall be provided. (b) This Employer-funded, confidential, assessment/referral service will be monitored by a Joint Committee.   • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel.   • Post-Termination Assistance Upon the Executive’s termination of employment with the Company, the Executive agrees to fully cooperate in all matters relating to the winding up or pending work on behalf of the Company and the orderly transfer of work to other employees of the Company following any termination of the Executives’ employment. The Executive further agrees that Executive will provide, upon reasonable notice, such information and assistance to the Company as may reasonably be requested by the Company in connection with any audit, governmental investigation, litigation, or other dispute in which the Company is or may become a party and as to which the Executive has knowledge; provided, however, that (i) the Company agrees to reimburse the Executive for any related out-of-pocket expenses, including travel expenses, and (ii) any such assistance may not unreasonably interfere with Executive’s then current employment.

  • Employee and Family Assistance Plan The CODC PRO Care Plan is an industry-funded employee and family assistance plan for employees and their eligible family members according to the participation of sponsoring organizations and employers as well as Plan eligibility rules. Employees must be enrolled in the Plan by their employer to become eligible for Plan benefits, subject to the Plan eligibility rules. An individual employee cannot self-enroll in the Plan. i. Employers are required to remit the Contract Administration and Industry Development fees and the monthly CODC Employer Report Form to CODC by the 15th of the month following the month in which the hours were worked. ii. Employers must also submit the monthly Employee Data Report to the PRO Care plan by the 15th of the month following to facilitate the confidential determination of eligibility by the EFAP provider. There are three ways to submit this data:  entering the data directly on the CODC website at xxx.xxxx.xx/xxxxxxx  uploading an excel spreadsheet in the required format to the website (a sample spreadsheet can be downloaded from the website)  Forwarding an excel spreadsheet in the required format electronically to xxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx. Hard copies of data will not be accepted.
