Environmental Management Plan Sample Clauses
Environmental Management Plan. Prior to the commencement of any demolition and remedial works an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) must be prepared for the site and submitted to the City’s Area Planning Manager for written approval prior to the commencement of work. The EMP must consider all potential environmental impacts from the approved works including but not limited to sedimentation control, contamination containment, stockpiles, noise and vibration, odours and dust emissions. All works must be undertaken onsite in accordance with the approved Environmental Management Plan.
Environmental Management Plan. Contractor shall, as part of an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, prepare an environmental management plan based on the results of the Environmental Impact Assessment (“Environmental Management Plan”). The Environmental Management Plan shall provide detailed information about Petroleum Operations that will be utilized to minimize environmental impacts. An Environmental Management Plan shall include, but not be limited to, a detailed description of atmospheric emission, waste management systems, and oil spill and fire prevention and response. Contingency Plans
1. Objective. The objective of the Contingency Plan is:
(i) to ensure the safety of personnel and the public; and
(ii) to protect both the environment and Contractor’s investment.
Environmental Management Plan. The Concessionaire shall, in consultation with the Project Engineer workout an appropriate schedule for submission of documents set out above to the Project Engineer for review. Prior to commencement of construction of any of the Project Facilities, the Concessionaire shall have:
(i) Obtained all such Applicable Permits as are necessary to commenceconstruction of such Project Facilities;
(ii) Finalised Construction Drawings as are necessary and the Construction Schedule in consultation with the Project Engineer;
(iii) Mobilised the requisite resources, personnel and organisation necessary for the same and designated and appointed suitable officers/ representatives as it may deem appropriate with responsibility to supervise implementation of the Project and for exchange of information with the Project Engineer and the Government Agency;
Environmental Management Plan. The Lessee shall submit to the Port Authority for its approval prior to the commencement of the Construction Work an environmental management plan setting forth in detail the Lessee’s plans for all handling, excavation, depositing, testing, screening, backfilling, removal, storage, transportation, disposal and other handling of soil and the treatment of groundwater and effluent in the performance of the Construction Work (such plan, as approved by the Port Authority, the “Environmental Management Plan”). The Construction Work shall be performed in accordance with the Environmental Management Plan.
Environmental Management Plan. The environmental management plan prepared by the Subcontractor and approved by the Contractor's Representative which must set out in adequate detail the procedures the Subcontractor will implement to manage the Subcontractor's Activities from an environmental perspective and describe how the Subcontractor proposes to ensure the Subcontractor's Activities will be performed consistently so as to maximise the achievement of: the Environmental Requirements; the Statutory Requirements; without limiting paragraph (b), the Energy Policy for Commonwealth Agencies, Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence Green Procurement Policy; the ESD Principles; and the Environmental Objectives, in accordance with the Subcontract and the Contractor's Environmental Management Plan. The Environmental Objectives are to: encourage best practice environmental management through planning, commitment and continuous improvement; prevent and minimise adverse impacts on the Environment; identify the potential for, and respond to, Environmental Incidents, accidents and emergency situations and take corrective action; identify and control possible environmental hazards associated with the Subcontract Works and the Subcontractor's Activities; establish procedures to ensure that no hazardous substance is stored on Commonwealth land without approval; recognise and protect any special environmental characteristics of the Site (including cultural heritage significance); define roles and responsibilities for personnel; ensure environmental training and awareness programmes are provided to employees and subsubcontractors; ensure subsubcontractors implement the Environmental Management Plan; define how the management of the Environment during the Subcontractor's Activities is reported and performance evaluated; describe all monitoring procedures required to identify impacts on the Environment as a result of the Subcontract Works and the Subcontractor's Activities; implement complaint reporting procedures and maintain records of complaints and response to complaints; and establish and maintain programs and procedures for periodic Environmental Management Plan audits to be carried out.
Environmental Management Plan. The Operator must develop, implement and maintain a plan (Environmental Management Plan) which must specify (as a minimum):
(a) the Environmental Risks identified in the IRMP from time to time and the measures in respect of those Environmental Risks specified in the IRMP from time to time which the Operator is responsible for implementing, complying with, ensuring compliance with and/or ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of;
(b) processes for ensuring that the Operator at all times complies with all requirements imposed on it under Environmental Laws from time to time;
(c) processes for ensuring that the Operator at all times complies with any requirements of the Environmental Authorities held by Aurizon Network from time to time that are relevant to the Operator’s Train Services;
(d) processes for ensuring that the Operator, its Rollingstock, Rollingstock Configurations and Train Services at all times comply with the requirements of this Agreement, including the IRMP and the Emergency Response Plan;
(e) systems (including audit systems) and procedures to address and monitor all relevant Environmental Risks identified in the IRMP and to ensure compliance with all Environmental Laws;
(f) the relevant roles, responsibilities and training of the Operator’s Staff involved in the implementation of the Environmental Management Plan; and
(g) the requirements specified in item 3.2 of schedule 7.
Environmental Management Plan. An environmental management plan prepared by the Contractor and finalised under clause 8.7, which must set out in adequate detail the procedures the Contractor will implement to manage the Contractor's Activities from an environmental perspective and describe how the Contractor proposes to ensure the Contractor's Activities will be performed consistently with the: Statutory Requirements; ESD Principles; and Environmental Objectives.
Environmental Management Plan. The Environmental Management Plan (EMP) should detail the mitigation measures to be implemented by the contractor in reducing the potential environmental impacts identified.
Environmental Management Plan. The Borrower shall take all action necessary to carry out the measures identified in the Environmental Management Plan at all times in a timely manner, ensuring that adequate information on the implementation of said measures, including on the screening of the physical cultural resources located in the proximity of the Zagreb terminal, is suitably included in the Project Reports to be prepared pursuant to the provisions of Part A of Section II of this Schedule.
