Extended Year Contracts. All teachers, excluding Instructional Coaches/Specialists and Career & Technology Educators assigned to the Mid-Del Technology Center, whose individual contract requires work beyond the normal teacher work year delineated in Article IV, Section 2 of this Agreement, shall be compensated for their extended work at the daily rate of pay. Instructional Coaches/Specialists shall receive, as compensation for their extended work, the amount specified in the negotiated agreement for ten (10) work day required beyond the normal teacher work year in lieu of daily rate of pay. Extended Year Contracts. Extended-year contracts are limited to the following academic specialists assigned to accrediting agency-mandated year-round instructional programs, or district-mandated year-round student support programs, and required by the district to work additional days during the summer and/or winter sessions. The following academic specialists will receive extended-year contracts for the following number of days: Contract/regular faculty in Computer Technology Centers: 195 days Xxxxxx, Watsonville
11.5.1.4.1 The extended-year contract calendar days must be submitted in writing annually by the academic specialists and authorized by the appropriate administrator.
Extended Year Contracts. Extended-year contracts are limited to the following Program Chair assigned to accrediting agency-mandated year-round instructional programs, or district- mandated year-round student support programs, and required by the district to work additional days during the summer. The following Program Chair will receive an extended-year contract for the following number of days: Radiology Technology 185 days
11.9.7.1 The extended-year contract calendar days must be submitted in writing annually by the Program Chair and authorized by the appropriate administrator.
11.9.7.2 All other Program Chairs with an extended year assignment shall be compensated at the adjunct salary schedule rate.
Extended Year Contracts. Unit members working an extended year contract shall be entitled to pro-rata sick leave days based on the number of additional days worked beyond the work year specified in Article 7.10.1.
Extended Year Contracts. Extended Year Contracts.
8.1 Extended year contracts, as identified in Appendix B, will be paid at a per diem rate which shall be computed from the regularly scheduled contract rate for the employee receiving the extended contract.
Extended Year Contracts. It is understood that various positions may be contracted for a number of days beyond the contractual 196 days. If any positions are contracted beyond the Board approved days, the compensation for those days shall be based on a daily rate of pay for the individual filling that position. Extended year contracts may be offered on a voluntary basis.
Extended Year Contracts. [a] Library Media Teachers are approved to work five (5) days beyond the teachers’ standard contract. These days may be scheduled either before or after the regular teacher contract days in consultation with the school principal. [b] Secondary School Counselors working full-time are authorized to work thirteen (13) additional days beyond the teachers’ standard contract. These days, or the equivalent number of hours, may be scheduled either before or after the standard teacher contract days, or hours, and shall be reported to the Director of Counselors and Comprehensive Guidance. Secondary counselors working part-time shall receive a prorated number of days/hours. [c] Licensed Special Educators and Related Servers are authorized fifteen
Extended Year Contracts. In anticipation of Federal budget cuts in Special Education funding, Extended Year Contracts, section 4.2.5 [c] will be suspended for the 2014-2015 school year. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Special Education Director.
