They also support students with mental health and wellbeing issues.The ESO works under direct instruction and supervision of the class teacher. The ESO and Classroom teacher collaborate to ensure clear communication, development of trusting relationships with students as well as safe, effective and supportive learning environments. Specific Responsibilities Support student additional learning needs: • Supervising small groups of students within sight and under instruction of the class teacher • Assists teachers with the implementation of strategies for students during class time • Liaises with teachers in identifying common goals to assist students to engage in learning • Assists teachers to prepare for classes, taking into account the needs of students ie. typing, enlarging, copying • Assists students with significant disabilities with scribing and reading, both in class and during assessment tasks and examinations • Supervises small groups of students under the direction and supervision of a teacher • In consultation with the Teachers, analyses and plans the most effective manner in which to integrate the student to subject matter • Participates in the monitoring and evaluation of programs and individual student involvement and achievement • Supervise students with needs during recess and lunch on a rotational basis • Assists students with mobility where necessary to classrooms, in school grounds, on excursions etc. This need will vary according to the individual student requirements. Based and Community Organizations that statutorily qualify as eligible applicants under OJP programs are invited and encouraged to apply for assistance awards and will be considered for awards on the same basis as any other eligible applicants and, if they receive assistance awards, will be treated on an equal basis with all other grantees in the administration of such awards. St Therese's School was blessed and officially opened on 1st March 1956 by Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx. The original school, begun by the Sisters of Mercy, was spread over two campuses, with the Junior School in the old St Aidan's Orphanage and Grades 3 to 6 at the current site in Lowndes St. The initial enrolment was 52 students. At the February census in 2023, the student population was 470 students. St Anne’s College is a single campus Foundation – Year 12 Catholic college, servicing families in the Goulburn Valley area. St Anne’s College is situated on 10 hectares of land and is located at the South end of Shepparton in a rapid growth corridor. St Anne’s College had its first intake of students in 2019 and began with enrolments in Foundation and Year 7. As each year progresses, a new year level is added in the primary and the secondary area. The estimated college population at full capacity is around 1200 students.
