Employees may wear either the blue button down duty shirt, blue duty sweatshirt with department t-shirt underneath, or blue polo shirt. However, a button down dress shirt or polo shall be worn for all public engagement events (i.e., inspections, public education, block party). Employees shall be reimbursed up to $175 for each fiscal year of this agreement for the purchase of approved station footwear with prior approval of the quartermaster or designee. Employees may be reimbursed the balance available for the entire term of the contract at any time during the term of the contract. Employees have the ability to use the reimbursement for all items related to the approved station footwear. New employees will be reimbursed for the value available in the fiscal year hired and any remaining years of the contract. If an employee separates from employment with the Fire Department prior to term of the contract and has utilized reimbursement exceeding what would have been available during the fiscal year of separation, the employee shall repay the City, upon demand, the sum equivalent to the total additional value that has been reimbursed.

Flashlight. Clothing maintenance/tailoring In addition to the previous list, any article of clothing required to be worn as part of the uniform will be allowed to be purchased. In addition to the above, suitable civilian clothing, such as suit coats, trousers, hats, shirts and suits may be purchased. The City will repair any article of clothing at no cost to the employee or replace articles of clothing at a depreciated value, based upon the age and wear of articles at the time of damage resulting from any enforcement action or legitimate police activity. Any equipment torn or otherwise damaged under like circumstances will be repaired or replaced as required at no cost to the employee. All new employees hired between July lst and December 31st shall receive a complete and full uniform including equipment at the expense of the Department and shall be considered the employee's clothing allotment for the Fiscal Year. If an employee is hired between January 01st and June 30th, the employee's uniform and equipment will be supplied, however, the employee's allowance shall be one-half (1/2) of the usual amount for the next Fiscal Year. In the event of a change in duty from Line Officer to the Investigative Division or from the Investigative Division to Line Duty, an additional $100.00 Clothing Allowance will be paid. All minimum respondent qualifications of the RFP are material terms of this Contract with which Contractor shall comply. Contractor shall provide, at its own expense, all personnel required to perform the services under this Contract.

Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all personnel arrive at the incident with the proper Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment as prescribed in the agreement. Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the Personal Protective Equipment is operable and maintained in good repair throughout the duration of any assignment. Personal Protective Clothing will be maintained in good repair, and be cleaned at sufficient intervals to preclude unsafe working conditions. All personnel shall be wearing Personal Protective Clothing, including boots, upon arrival at the incident. Flashlight. No potable or gray water truck shall exceed the manufacturer's GVWR or Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) per axle when the vehicle is fully loaded and equipped. The vehicle GVWR plate should be on the driver's side doorpost, driver's door, or in the glove compartment. If missing or illegible, the Contractor shall provide a GVWR certificate from manufacturer stating front, rear and total GVWR at the pre-season and incident inspections. Only a written verifiable GVWR from the manufacturer or final stage manufacturer will be accepted. Vehicles without GVWR and GAWR ratings will be rejected at the pre-award inspection and will have to reschedule another regular inspection time and/or location when certification is acquired.
