Uniform and Equipment. 1. The University agrees to furnish at no cost to the employees the present University approved uniforms, rain gear, and other equipment the University deems necessary for the regular performance of the employee's duties. This provision does not prohibit the University from adding to or subtracting from the mandatory uniform or equipment requirements during the life of this Agreement.
2. The University shall replace appropriate uniforms or equipment damaged, destroyed or stolen in the line of duty. The University shall replace ballistic vests to the manufacturer’s specifications.
3. Full-time regular employees shall receive from the University an allowance of one hundred seventy dollars ($170.00) a year to purchase shoes used in the line of duty. All part-time regular employees shall receive from the University an allowance of fifty dollars ($50.00) a year to purchase shoes used in the line of duty.
Uniform and Equipment. The Board shall provide uniforms and equipment as the Board considers adequate.
Uniform and Equipment. We may require you to wear specific clothing (including footwear) and a uniform. You are also required to wear all applicable safety gear – including mesh gloves or other PPE as required. You are responsible for any costs associated with damage to equipment, machinery and premises arising from your unreasonable negligence or recklessness.
Uniform and Equipment. The City shall furnish uniforms and equipment to all members, at no cost to the member. The uniforms and equipment to be so provided shall consist of:
Uniform and Equipment. 20.01 Uniforms will be issued to employees where the Employer determines that such uniforms are necessary in the performance of their duties.
20.02 Uniforms or civilian clothing soiled in performing duties under conditions not normally encountered shall be cleaned at the expense of the Employer on authorization by an employee’s supervisor.
20.03 An annual tool allowance of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) shall be paid to employees who are in positions classified in the following classes, provided that these employees are required to use their own tool kits and further provided that the employees have been continuously employed for at least one (1) year:
(a) Air Engineer
(b) Mechanic (c) Mechanic Xxxxxxx/Woman
Uniform and Equipment. 14 1. Uniform and equipment benefits for employees shall be as follows:

Initial Allowance 16 (1) Employees in the Police Officer job classifications shall, upon appointment, 17 receive an initial uniform and equipment issue, the specific items of which shall 18 be determined by the Chief of Police. These specific items shall remain the 19 property of the City and shall revert to the Police Department upon the 20 employee's severance from service from and after January 1, 1991. 21 (2) Effective as soon after September 14, 1987, as administratively practicable, one 22 silver badge patch for the windbreaker shall be included in the initial issue. 23 (3) Effective upon the execution date of the 2010-2012 Agreement, a uniform outer 24 carrier shall be included in the initial issue, which shall replace the initial issue 25 of a sweater.
26 b. Replacement Allowance
Uniform and Equipment. 15.01 The Employer shall supply to each Member such clothing and equipment as required to perform the Member's duties, at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
15.02 The cost of cleaning uniforms of the Members of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service shall be assumed by the Employer.
15.03 Plain Clothes Members or other Officers temporarily transferred to such duty shall be granted a clothing allowance of $65.00 per month.
Uniform and Equipment. 25.5.1 Newly hired police officers shall be provided uniforms and equipment deemed necessary by the District prior to the start of their Field Training Program.
25.5.2 On an annual basis, police officers shall receive a $500 clothing stipend/allowance. This stipend shall paid in the police officers July paycheck and its purpose is to reimburse police officers for maintaining their uniforms to ensure they are clean and in good repair.
25.5.3 The District will provide a monthly stipend of $50 for cleaning/ laundering of District Police Department personnel uniforms and the maintenance of their boots and equipment.
25.5.4 At least one two–way radio issued to Campus Police Officer personnel during normal work hours shall provide communication with another local law enforcement agency. District administration will seek to establish and maintain effective communications with local law enforcement agencies to affect mutual assistance procedures.
Uniform and Equipment. The Employer shall be responsible for providing Sergeants with the uniform and equipment items listed herein. All Sergeants are required to report to work with their clothing and equipment in clean condition and neat in appearance. The Employer agrees to launder the uniforms issued to Sergeants for the cleaning, care and maintenance of those items. The Employer will replace uniform and equipment items listed herein when such replacement is made necessary by normal wear and tear or in the performance of their duties, and then only after inspection and approval by the Employer. Sergeants shall be responsible for maintaining all uniforms and equipment in a serviceable manner and are required to promptly report to the department all items damaged or lost in the performance of their duties. Uniform and equipment items lost or damaged due to negligence or circumstances not related to the performance of the Sergeant’s duties must be promptly reported to the department and replaced at the Sergeant’s expense. Upon termination of employment, all items issued must be returned no later than their last date of employment. Lost or damaged items at the time of termination must be replaced at the expense of the employee.
Uniform and Equipment. 14.01 The Employer shall supply to each Court Security Officer such clothing and equipment as required to perform their duties, at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
14.02 The cost of cleaning uniforms of the Court Security Officers of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service shall be assumed by the Employer.
14.03 Members employed as Court Clerks shall be issued with a uniform consisting of grey slacks (2), a blue crested blazer (1) and white shirts (4 long or short sleeve, the member to choose). Article 14.02 shall not apply.
