CLOTHING MAINTENANCE. A. Each member of the Bureau of Fire receiving the two hundred dollar ($200.00) per year clothing allowance provided in Section 13-B of this Article, shall also receive from the CITY fifty dollar ($50.00) per year for clothing maintenance of his regulation dress uniform. B. Each member of the Bureau of Fire not receiving the two hundred dollar ($200.00) per year clothing allowance provided in Section 13-B of this Article, shall receive from the CITY thirty dollar ($30.00) per year for the cleaning and maintenance of his regulation dress uniform.

CLOTHING MAINTENANCE. All Members shall be supplied with four winter shirts, four summer shirts and four pairs of pants upon being hired. All these items shall be new. Any clothing becoming not presentable shall be replaced in a timely manner at Township’s cost and expense. The article of clothing shall be returned to the department upon receipt of a new product. The Township shall purchase and maintain rechargeable flashlights for each present and future member of the bargaining unit.
CLOTHING MAINTENANCE. All employees assigned to the platoon system and Fire Marshal position, who have not been absent from duty for more than six (6) months, in a Fiscal year (July 1 –June 30), shall be issued an annual clothing maintenance of $1,000 per year. If a member has been absent from duty more than six (6) months in a Fiscal year (July 1 –June 30), the $1,000 clothing maintenance will be prorated. This payment shall be paid on the first pay period in December.

On or before the 31s1 day of December of each contract year, the Township shall provide an additional Two Hundred Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($262.50) for each full-time uniformed employee covered by the terms of this contract, for the purpose of cleaning and maintenance of uniforms for the second half of the year.
CLOTHING MAINTENANCE. An annual clothing maintenance shall be paid to each merit firefighter, full time civilian EMS personnel, and other civilian employee, designated by the Chief as an employee whose duties primarily require service in uniform, outside the office. Checks will be made out the week following the first pay day in December of said year. Personnel not employed for the full 12 months previous will receive a prorated check based on the amount of months they have been employed. Payment will be on a separate check. Department Quartermaster system will remain in place. Clothing allowance amounts shall be in the following gross amounts: Any changes to this Policy will be developed through Labor/Management. The township shall be allowed discretion on clothing allowances for other administrative personnel.
CLOTHING MAINTENANCE. Beginning January 1, 2007, officers shall no longer receive a clothing maintenance allowance but shall, nevertheless, maintain and wear the proper uniform as required by the Chief of Police or his designee.
