Full and Part-Time Employees. (a) A regular full-time employee is one who is appointed to a full-time position and is regularly scheduled to work full-time shifts as identified in Article 14.2(a). These employees are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. (b) A regular part-time employee is one who is appointed to a part-time position with a part-time schedule and works less than the number of hours constituting full-time employment as outlined in Article 14. A regular part-time employee is entitled to all benefits of this Agreement on a prorated basis except as provided for in Article 27, Health and Welfare Benefits.

In all other cases, at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice of any change must be given or four (4) additional hours' pay given in lieu of notice. The Employer is required to make a reasonable effort to advise individual employees of changes to their work schedule once it has been posted. Full and Part-Time Employees. For calendar year 2017, the Library shall pay the amount of the Library’s 2016 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2017 renewal year. For calendar year 2018, the Library shall pay the amount of the Library’s 2017 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2018 renewal year. For calendar year 2019 the Library shall pay the amount of the 2018 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2019 renewal year. For calendar year 2020 the Library shall pay the amount of the 2019 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2020 renewal year. In the event that premiums exceed 8%, the Library employee contributions to the health insurance premiums shall make up the difference between the Library contribution and the total increase of the cost of the health insurance premiums or the plans may be modified to reduce the costs to below the 8% premium increase.
