Full and Part-Time Employees. (a) A regular full-time employee is one who is appointed to a full-time position and is regularly scheduled to work full-time shifts as identified in Article 14.2(a). These employees are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.
(b) A regular part-time employee is one who is appointed to a part-time position with a part-time schedule and works less than the number of hours constituting full-time employment as outlined in Article 14. A regular part-time employee is entitled to all benefits of this Agreement on a prorated basis except as provided for in Article 27, Health and Welfare Benefits.
Full and Part-Time Employees. For the purpose of this Agreement, a full-time employee is an employee who is regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours a week on a non-temporary basis. A part-time employee is an employee who is regularly scheduled to work a minimum of twenty (20) hours a week, but less than forty (40) hours a week on a non-temporary basis.

Full and Part-Time Employees. The Employer shall post the weekly work schedule for all employees not later than Monday 6:00 p.m. for the following two (2) weeks. An employee's schedule may be changed without notice in the event of absence of other staff due to sickness or accident or in the event of emergencies, such as fire, flood, breakdown of machinery or other instances of force majeure. In all other cases, at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice of any change must be given or four (4) additional hours' pay given in lieu of notice. Split Shifts: There shall be a daily starting time for each employee. Daily hours of work for full-time employees shall be consecutive, with the exception of meal periods. Part-time

Full and Part-Time Employees. The Employer shall ensure that there are always two (2) weeks of schedules posted, being the current week and the next week’s schedule. If the Employer fails to comply with the above, the Employer shall pay a fine as outlined below to the Kootenay Market #1671 UFCW Pension Plan.

B. Nine-month employees must be off payroll for one period of eight (8) consecutive weeks. Ten-month employees must be off payroll for one period of four (4) consecutive weeks. The University will notify the Union if there is an exception to the off-payroll time period.
Full and Part-Time Employees. Unless otherwise stated, the singular of the word “Employee” in this Agreement shall refer only to a Full-Time or Part-Time Employee in the bargaining unit who has passed probation.

In the case of students, they must be notified on the day before of any change to his or her schedule or be given an additional two (2) hours pay if the schedule is changed for a school day and four (4) hours pay if the schedule is changed for a non school day. The Employer is required to make a reasonable effort to advise individual employees of changes to their work schedule once it has been posted. Full and Part-Time Employees. For calendar year 2017, the Library shall pay the amount of the Library’s 2016 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2017 renewal year. For calendar year 2018, the Library shall pay the amount of the Library’s 2017 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2018 renewal year. For calendar year 2019 the Library shall pay the amount of the 2018 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2019 renewal year. For calendar year 2020 the Library shall pay the amount of the 2019 premium plus an amount not to exceed up to an additional 8% of health insurance premiums for the 2020 renewal year. In the event that premiums exceed 8%, the Library employee contributions to the health insurance premiums shall make up the difference between the Library contribution and the total increase of the cost of the health insurance premiums or the plans may be modified to reduce the costs to below the 8% premium increase.
