Full Experience CreditA teacher hired into this unit shall receive full credit for previous teaching experience in other public school systems up to the maximum allowed on the schedule.
Full Experience CreditThe teacher shall be awarded full credit for teaching experience outside of the District, provided that experience meets all criteria set out in Kentucky Revised Statutes and Kentucky Administrative Regulations.
Full Experience Credit. Each Teacher hired after July 1, 1996 may be awarded less than full credit for teaching experience outside the District with the approval of the Teacher, Association, and Board.

Full Experience Credit. From the effective date of the 2014-2015 Agreement forward, new employees to the District shall be awarded full credit on the salary schedule for teaching experience outside of the District, except for private school teaching experience.
Full Experience Credit. The employee will be awarded full credit for all prior years of PreK-12 service according to what is listed in the employee’s Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System statement. Any out of state public school service would also be included in this placement. Teacher and Superintendent must sign off on a document stating the years of experience awarded. This shall be applied retroactively to all employees who have been hired during the 2023-2024 academic year, but will not begin their employment until the 2024-2025 academic year.
Full Experience CreditThe employee may be awarded up to a maximum of seven (7) years full credit, including half-year or semester credit for all prior full-time or half-time employment teaching experience outside the district upon appropriate documentation. Such experience shall relate to his/her basic job placement. In order to qualify for full-year credit on the salary schedule, an employee must have been employed full-time not later than November 1 of the year in question. Full Experience CreditExperienced teachers, school psychologists, social workers, counselors and speech pathologists entering the system shall be granted full credit for years of TRS creditable experience. Experience on the salary schedule of new personnel, as used herein, shall reflect only previous certificated teaching experience in an accredited public elementary or secondary educational institution. This applies only to teachers hired for the 2015-2016 school year and beyond. Experience for placement on the secretarial salary schedule, support staff salary schedule, and educational paraprofessional salary schedule shall be based upon previous experience in those occupations or experience in the District.
