Health and Safety in the Workplace. (a) The Company shall maintain on all full shifts, an emergency first aid station.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. The Union and the Company are committed to working together to maintain a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Both parties agree that all employees should be actively involved in creating a safe workplace and complying with all applicable safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Both parties recognize that good physical health and being prepared to do physical work may reduce injuries. Together, the parties will explore methods to promote health programs.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. The Union and the Company are committed to 32 working together to maintain a healthy and safe workplace. Both parties agree that all 33 employees should be actively involved in creating a safe workplace and complying with all 34 applicable safety and health policies and procedures.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. The Company is committed to a tobacco-free work environment 16 based on the evidence that tobacco smoke and second-hand 17 smoke is detrimental to employee health. Accordingly the 1 interior spaces of all Company facilities are tobacco-free. The 2 Company shall designate exterior spaces for smoking and use of 3 other tobacco products. There shall be no use of tobacco 4 products except in designated areas.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. It is the duty of the host institution to treat and consider visiting staff and students to that institution in the same manner as its own staff and students, and thus visiting staff and students will benefit from exactly the same safeguards and information, in line with the role assumed in the host institution.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. The parties and covered Employees shall comply with the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Xxx 0000 and subsequent amendments concerning safety, health, and welfare matters. The parties to this agreement agree that Employees should be adequately protected from any safety and health hazard arising in the workplace. All reasonable precautions for the health and safety of Employees shall be taken.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. 13.1. The subcontractor shall be responsible for the full observance of all statutory provisions and end-client specifications that might be in force during the delivery of services regarding the workplace health and safety of his employees and those of his own subcontractors.
13.2. R&M’s site manager shall be entitled to issue instructions regarding workplace health and safety to employees of the subcontractor and of its suppliers. A coordinator appointed by the end-customer shall likewise be authorised to issue such instructions.
13.3. The subcontractor shall appoint the supervisor to act and negotiate on his behalf in the completion of the order. The subcontractor shall nominate his site supervisor by written notification to R&M’s site manager before commencing performance of services.
13.4. The subcontractor shall require special permission for all and any use that it might make of R&M’s plant equipment or machinery during the delivery of its services. R&M shall issue the corresponding instruction(s) to the subcontractor’s supervisor, who shall in turn be solely responsible for instructing the employees of the subcontractor and those of his own subcontractors.
13.5. The subcontractor shall notify R&M site management immediately and in writing of every workplace accident involving his site employees that requires a doctor’s attention.
13.6. R&M shall be entitled to expel from the construction site any individual employee of the subcontractor or of its own subcontractors who infringes the above-mentioned rules. R&M may terminate the contract on justifiable grounds and without notice in the event of serious or repeated infringements in this respect.
Health and Safety in the Workplace. 16.1. The Supplier guarantees compliance with the requirements regarding health and safety in the workplace as stipulated by current legislation, as well as compliance with all legal and contractual provisions regarding remuneration, insurance and social security contributions, accidents, as well as obligations, benefits, and duties related to the employment relationship of its employees, according to the legislation and relevant industry contracts in force. To the extent that it is the subject of the Contract and where applicable and in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/2008 and any amendments, the Customer undertakes to provide the Supplier with information on specific risks existing in the environment where it is intended to operate and on the preventive and emergency measures adopted by the Customer itself in relation to its activity, including a declaration on the existence or absence of interference risks, and, where necessary, the drafting and delivery of the Single Document of Assessment of Risks from Interference.

Health and Safety in the Workplace. 47.1 The City shall supply all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA).
47.2 The Workplace Health and Safety Representatives employed by the City shall have input into the selection of PPE.
47.3 The City is a smoke free workplace and Employees are not permitted to smoke in or around the City’s buildings or vehicles.
