Holidays for a Reason of Faith or Conscience Leave without pay will be granted for a reason of faith or conscience or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church or religious organization for up to two (2) workdays per calendar year in accordance with RCW 1.16.50 and as provide below:

Holidays for a Reason of Faith or Conscience Leave without pay will be granted for holidays of faith or conscience or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church or religious organization for up to two (2) days per calendar year provided the employee’s absence will not impose an undue hardship on the Employer as defined by WAC 00-00-000 or the employee is not necessary to maintain public safety. This leave is in accordance with RCW 1.16.050 and as provided below:

  • Unpaid Holidays for a Reason of Faith or Conscience Leave without pay will be granted for a reason of faith or conscience for up to two (2) workdays per calendar year as provided below.

  • Reason for Layoff Layoffs shall occur due to lack of work or lack of funds.

  • Leave for Personal Reasons (a) An employee may be allowed a leave of absence without pay for up to thirty (30) days for personal reasons if:

  • Notification of Absence To be entitled to payment in accordance with this clause the employee shall meet the following criteria;

  • Determination of Service for Sick Leave with Pay Actual time worked and all leave with pay, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave credits each month, provided that the employee works thirty-two (32) hours or more in that month.

  • Right to Grieve Disciplinary Action Employees shall have the right to grieve written censures or warnings, and adverse employee appraisals. Employees shall have the right to rebut in writing any disciplinary notice and that rebuttal will be placed in the employee file, but will not be part of the formal disciplinary record. Should an employee dispute any such entry in his/her file, he/she shall be entitled to recourse through the Grievance Procedure and the eventual resolution thereof shall become part of his/her personal record.

  • REFUSAL OF SERVICE Lithium Hosting, llc reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse or cancel service without refund. Lithium Hosting, llc also reserves the right to refuse and remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that, in its sole discretion, are unacceptable, undesirable, or in violation of this agreement.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Verification of Employment Eligibility By executing this Agreement, Consultant verifies that it fully complies with all requirements and restrictions of state and federal law respecting the employment of undocumented aliens, including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, as may be amended from time to time, and shall require all subconsultants and sub-subconsultants to comply with the same.

  • Compensation for Overtime 9.5.1 All overtime hours, except those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) hours in one day, shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to time and one-half the regular rate of pay of the employee. Those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) in one day shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to two times the regular pay of the employee.
