Personal Convenience Leave. On July 1 of each year, employees will be credited with four (4) days leave, which may be used for the employee's personal convenience. Employees may use this leave for a purpose they believe to be sufficient to warrant their absence from their assigned responsibilities.

B. Employees whose initial hire date is after July 1 shall receive a prorated amount of personal convenience leave.
1. A personal convenience leave day may be used at the discretion of the employee except the day requested may not be used on the first or last day of the instructional year or on a student registration day, unless approved by their supervisor.
2. An employee planning to use a personal convenience leave day or days will notify his/her supervisor at least two (2) days in advance.
C. Each year employees have the option to be compensated at their current salary, for their unused personal convenience days. To be compensated for the days, employees must notify the payroll office in writing no later than June 10th indicating the number of days for which they want compensation. Employees shall receive payment with their June 25th or July 10th pay. It is the intent of the College to pay for the unused personal convenience days on the June 25th paycheck whenever possible.
D. Each employee will be credited one additional day of personal convenience leave during the 2015 - 2018 contract agreement.
Personal Convenience Leave. Each full-time employee will be granted 16 hours of Personal Convenience Leave each fiscal year (May 1 – April 30). Such Personal Conven- ience Leave may be taken in increments of one (1) hour or more at the convenience of the employee subject to the discretion of the Department Head. Personal Convenience Leave may not be accumulated from one fiscal year to another.
Personal Convenience Leave. Any employee covered by this Agreement will be granted sixteen (16) hours Personal Convenience Leave with pay each fiscal year (May 1-April 30). Such Personal Convenience Leave may be taken at the convenience of the employee subject to the operational needs of the Department as de- termined by the immediate supervisor. Public Service employees shall take PC in two (2) hour increments (unless parties agree otherwise) and all oth- er employees shall take PC in fifteen (15) minute increments. Personal Convenience Leave may not be accumulated from one fiscal year to an- other. New employees starting after May 1 will be granted 16 hours of Per- xxxxx Convenience Leave.

Personal Convenience Leave. On April 1st of each year, employees shall be granted personal convenience leave in accordance with the following schedule:
a. Each employee with more than one (1) year but less than twenty (20) completed years of continuous employment with the Town: Twenty-four (24) hours of personal convenience leave.
b. Each employee with twenty (20) but less than twenty-five (25) completed years of continuous employment with the Town: Thirty-two (32) hours of personal convenience leave.
c. Each employee with twenty-five (25) completed years or more of continuous employment with the Town: Forty (40) hours of personal convenience leave. Such leave shall not be accumulated nor shall the employee be paid in lieu of days not taken. Such leave shall be taken prior to April 1st of the year following the granting of such leave. Such leave shall be requested at least one (1) calendar day in advance. Personal convenience leave may be taken in one (1) hour increments or more and shall not necessitate the call-back of unscheduled personnel or the payment of overtime. Newly hired regular full-time employees shall upon commencement of employment be granted personal convenience leave hours based on the following formula: number of days left in fiscal year divided by 365 times 24 hours.

1. Employees may accumulate up to a maximum of six (6) days personal convenience leave. Should an employee have an accumulated balance of six (6) days the employee will not receive additional personal convenience leave.
2. Employees whose initial hire date is after July 1 shall receive a prorated amount of personal convenience leave.
B. Personal convenience leave days may be used at the discretion of the employee with the approval of the College. Employees who want to use personal leave days to extend vacation or holiday periods will request use of the personal convenience leave days in accordance with Article 9.

Deduction for such approved leave shall be at the prevailing substitute rate. Leave under this provision is not cumulative from year to year.
