Basic Workday. (School Day) 1. The basic member workday shall be 8 hours including a 30-minute duty-free lunch hour (7 1/2 hours). 2. The normal school day is anticipated to be between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., which may vary as determined either by the District or by the buildings. This may include building administrators making work shift options to address the needs of the staff. Nurses must make written request to supervisor by May 15th based on current year care plan numbers, for number of days need to assure students safety prior to in- service week. Up to 5 days may be allotted. Nurses will be paid at daily contract rate.

Break time is not cumulative and is not to be used to arrive late or to leave early unless otherwise agreed to by supervisor. Scheduling of break times shall be at the discretion of the Department Head. C. Timesheets, time clocks or other appropriate methods shall be utilized for the recording of employee work time. Employees shall review and sign their timesheets, timecards or other document or electronic method designated by the City to verify the time an employee worked within a pay period prior to its submission to payroll. If such procedure is not feasible, the employee shall receive a copy of the timesheets submitted for review, signature and any corrections. D. An employee late for duty shall not be sent home but will be paid for only time worked unless employee is habitually late whereby appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

The parties agree that the foregoing job descriptions shall be updated to include tasks necessary to be completed before the task work is completed as approved by the supervisor. Basic Workday. A. The basic work day shall be the same as the one followed by the professional bargaining unit. The work day will be a continuous seven (7) hour work day as assigned by the principal or director and excluding a duty free lunch period of thirty (30) minutes. Programs that operate beyond the normal school year will have a six hour forty-five (6- 3/4) hour work day for the period outside the normal school year. B. All paraprofessionals shall be entitled to relief time not to exceed twenty (20) minutes daily. The time of said relief shall be mutually agreed upon by the teacher and paraprofessional. When a classroom or part of a classroom is involved in CBI/Community Based Instruction, any employee who misses their duty free lunch period or break period shall have this time credited for adjustment with the approval of the principal. C. Paraprofessionals shall not be solely responsible for loading and unloading buses. Time within the above workday not spent in the primary functions for which the paraprofessional is employed shall be spent planning, inservice or other related activities as directed by the teacher and/or principal.

  • Basic Work Week ‌ a) The basic work week of an employee working full- time shall be forty (40) hours consisting of five eight hour days; b) Daily hours of work shall be consecutive with the exception of rest and meal periods. No split shifts shall be worked; c) Employees shall not work longer than their regular, scheduled work day, unless requested to do so by Management; in which event, additional time will be paid at applicable regular or overtime rates. Employees are required to leave the store as soon as it is reasonable to do so.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare.

  • Fast Food Allowance As of 1 October 2020 the Employer shall pay an allowance of $2.75 per hour on all fast food construction, and on refurbishments with a building permit value in excess of $470,000. These allowances will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. On any Project where the applicable site allowance in Appendix C is higher, then that site allowance will apply.

  • Basic Services The Architect/Engineer’s Basic Services include all disciplines identified in Article 15 and all related usual and customary design, consultant, and other services necessary and reasonably inferable to complete the Project, or any phase of the Project, in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and the terms of this Agreement.

  • FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Clause 38.1.1 of the award, a payment per day shall be made for each day worked (including RDO’s). This payment shall in no way limit or be construed as a payment in substitution for any other entitlement arising under Clause 38 of the award.   • Basic Service As defined in M.G.L. c. 164, § 1 and in orders of the Department, as amended or promulgated, as the case may be, from time to time.

  • Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Ambulance Escort Where a nurse is assigned to provide patient care for a patient in transit, the following provisions shall apply: i) Where a full-time nurse performs such duties during her or his regular shift, the full-time nurse shall be paid her or his regular rate of pay. Where a full-time nurse performs such duties outside her or his regular shift or on a day off, she or he shall be paid the appropriate overtime rate. ii) Where a part-time nurse performs such duties during an assigned shift, she or he shall be paid her or his regular rate of pay. Where a part-time nurse continues to perform such duties in excess of her or his assigned shift, she or he shall be paid the appropriate overtime rate. (b) Where such duties extend beyond the nurse's regular shift, the Hospital will not require the nurse to return to regular duties at the hospital without at least eight (8) hours of time off. Where such time off extends into the nurse's next regularly scheduled shift she or he will maintain her or his regular earnings for that full shift. (c) Hours spent between the time the nurse is relieved of patient care responsibilities and the time the nurse returns to the hospital or to such other location agreed upon between the Hospital and the nurse will be paid at straight time or at appropriate overtime rates, if applicable under Article 14. 01. It is understood that the nurse shall return to the hospital or to such other location agreed upon between the Hospital and the nurse at the earliest opportunity. Prior to the nurse's departure on escort duty, or at such other time as may be mutually agreed upon between the Hospital and the nurse, the Hospital will establish with the nurse arrangements for return travel. (d) The nurse shall be reimbursed for reasonable out of pocket expenses including room, board and return transportation and consideration will be given to any special circumstances not dealt with under the foregoing provisions. NOTE 1: (Note 1 applies to full-time nurses only) The Hospital agrees to continue to pay any greater monetary benefit for ambulance escort duty if such greater benefit has been paid by the Hospital immediately prior to this Agreement. This note applies at Hospitals where this superior condition exists as of December 14, 1987. NOTE 2: (Note 2 applies to part-time nurses only) The Hospital agrees to continue to pay any greater monetary benefit for ambulance escort duty if such greater benefit was paid by the Hospital under a Collective Agreement immediately prior to this Agreement. This note applies at Hospitals where this superior condition exists as of December 14, 1987.
