Improving Outcomes For People. Providers are required and will be monitored in taking affirmative steps to further the community connecting objectives of the persons with whom they support, consistent with the Inclusion Best Practice Guideline, the Consumerism Best Practice Guideline, the Home and Community Based Services Rules and the Personal Care Technical Requirement (the Provider Manual). It is an expectation of the provider staff to include and engage people living in the house in the day to day decision making and routines. These outcomes will be measured in major areas. The following performance requirements are contractual obligations of the provider. a) Assuring maximum choice and control for all persons served in ensuring that the person is engaged in their community for services, leisure activities and hobbies : • Meal and snack choices and preparation as well as meal and snack times • Times they choose to go to bed and wake up • Active participation and choices in community experiences. The person served should have the opportunity to develop hobbies, engage in leisure activities they enjoy and have the opportunity for these both scheduled and unscheduled. There should be an opportunity to do this 1:1 if they choose. Although going along with staff to regular activities such as to the bank, errands, grocery store and other like activities are valuable and important in a quality life, these do not count as quality community activities that are recreational, are related to the person’s interests and hobbies, or that involve family and friends. The intent is that people are having quality opportunities in their community to have fun, spend time with friends and family, engage in hobbies, go to a place to work or volunteer, going to a community business to work out/exercise and participating in other fun events. It is the person themselves who determines the value of the community activity. • The provider will find support staff that have the same interests and are willing to participate in each experience • Support and encourage people who want to vote • People living in the home should have direct control of their spending money at all times • Decisions about purchases or spending must be made with the person present • Withdrawals of personal funds are initiated by the individual and in amounts and frequencies determined by him/her.   • Moving Out a. Each Resident must remove all personal belongings from their room when the Occupancy period ends or this Contract is terminated. The room must be cleaned and notice made to REH staff for move out to be complete. Remaining personal items will be considered abandoned and will be sent to OSU Surplus for public auction or disposal. Residents will be charged for housing and dining until they have completed the entire move out process. During move out, Residents may be present for an initial staff inspection of the final room condition; however, the initial inspection is informational in nature and is not the final determination of room condition. All rooms are inspected after the Resident vacates the room and this inspection may result in damage charges, regardless of whether the Resident is present at the time of inspection. c. The Resident agrees to pay for the cost of extra custodial service to remove personal belongings or to clean the room after the Resident has vacated. The Resident agrees that the University may determine these charges in its sole discretion and the University will calculate the charges to reasonably compensate for any damages based on its Common Residence Hall Charges Sheet, located at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/housing/rates-policies/room-dining-rates. d. Failure to vacate by the time and date required may result in charges calculated to reasonably compensate the University for damage incurred by the delay, in addition to prorated Room and Dining charges, unless the Resident withdraws from OSU- Cascades after the times and dates listed in Section 3. If a Resident withdraws from OSU-Cascades and moves their belongings out, but has not completed the move out process, REH reserves the right to reassign the room to another resident.   • Working Out of Classification Whenever an employee is assigned the principal duties and responsibilities of an employee in a higher classification for a single shift or greater period of time, that employee shall be paid a minimum of three (3) steps above their present salary, or shall receive the salary at the bottom of the range for the classification which they are working in, whichever is greater, for all such time worked.

  • Working Out of Class 33.1. Working-out-of-classification occurs when an employee in a regular position is 33.2. Working-out-of-classification assignments must occur in full day/shift increments. 33.3. While working-out-of-classification, the employee will receive a 5% working-out- of-classification pay premium. Any overtime earned while working-out-of-classification will include the 5% premium. Paid leave (e.g. vacation, sick, executive leave, bereavement) while working-out-of-classification shall be at the rate of the employee’s base position (without the 5%pay premium). 33.4. If a working-out-of-classification assignment exceeds 29 consecutive calendar days, the assignment will be converted prospectively to a special duty assignment.

  • CONTRACTING OUT The Hospital shall not contract out any work usually performed by members of the bargaining unit if, as a result of such contracting out, a layoff of any employees other than casual part-time employees results from such contracting out.

  • MANAGEMENT OF EVALUATION OUTCOMES 12.1 Where the Employer is, any time during the Employee’s employment, not satisfied with the Employee’s performance with respect to any matter dealt with in this Agreement, the Employer will give notice to the Employee to attend a meeting; 12.2 The Employee will have the opportunity at the meeting to satisfy the Employer of the measures being taken to ensure that his performance becomes satisfactory and any programme, including any dates, for implementing these measures; 12.3 Where there is a dispute or difference as to the performance of the Employee under this Agreement, the Parties will confer with a view to resolving the dispute or difference; and 12.4 In the case of unacceptable performance, the Employer shall – 12.4.1 Provide systematic remedial or developmental support to assist the Employee to improve his performance; and 12.4.2 After appropriate performance counselling and having provided the necessary guidance and/or support as well as reasonable time for improvement in performance, the Employer may consider steps to terminate the contract of employment of the Employee on grounds of unfitness or incapacity to carry out his or her duties.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.

  • Completion of the Project The Participating County acknowledges it is obligated to undertake and complete the design and construction of the Project in compliance with all of the applicable terms and conditions of the Project Documents and the Participating County agrees to use its best efforts to cause the completion of design and construction of the Project in compliance with the applicable terms and conditions of such documents. The Participating County agrees to complete the Project in accordance with this Agreement and consistent with the scope, cost and schedule established by the Board and attached hereto in Exhibit A, as such scope, cost and schedule may be modified with the approval of Finance and the recognition of the Board.

  • PRODUCTIVITY The Union shall place no limitations upon the amount of work which an Employee shall perform during the working day and there shall be no restrictions imposed against the use of any type of machinery, tools or labour saving devices.

  • Scope of the Project Under this Agreement, the scope of the Project (the “Scope of the Project”) shall mean and include: (a) construction of the Project Highway on the Site set forth in Schedule- A and as specified in Schedule-B together with provision of Project Facilities as specified in Schedule-C, and in conformity with the Specifications and Standards set forth in Schedule-D; (b) maintenance of the Project Highway in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and in conformity with the requirements set forth in Schedule-E; and (c) performance and fulfilment of all other obligations of the Contractor in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and matters incidental thereto or necessary for the performance of any or all of the obligations of the Contractor under this Agreement.
