Incremental Vacation a. Employees may take (bid) up to 2 weeks (80 hours) of earned vacation in daily increments (8 hours) except, employees working alternative work schedules will receive daily incremental vacation hours consistent with the length of their daily work schedule. All incremental vacation hours are paid at the employee’s straight time hourly rate or run pay, whichever is greater. Employees must retain at least 2 weeks (80 hours) of annual vacation to be taken off in weekly increments of 5 consecutive days.

Notice of intent to take one (1) week of their vacation in this way must be given when scheduling vacation. An employee will be allowed to take incremental vacation provided he secures permission prior to the posting of the work schedule for the work week in which incremental vacation will be taken, except in emergency situations. Vacation Pay for incremental vacation day(s) shall be included in the employee’s regular paycheck, which is issued for the pay period in which the incremental vacation was taken. Maintenance day shift workers (6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) will be permitted to take two (2) of their five (5) incremental days in half-day (four [4] hour) increments, provided they secure permission prior to the posting of the work schedule for the work week in which the incremental vacation will be taken, except in emergency situations.

  • Annual Vacation Auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of four percent (4%) of their regular earnings. After one thousand (1,000) days worked, auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of six percent (6%) of their regular earnings.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • ANNUAL VACATIONS Vacation entitlement earned during previous employment shall be credited to the employee, and vacations granted shall be in accordance with such previous entitlement (Articles 28.01 and 28.02).

  • Paid Vacation Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no longer than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned.

  • Banked Vacation Once every five years an employee may bank one full year's vacation to be taken in conjunction with the next year's vacation. For the purposes of this clause, all vacation in the second year must be taken concurrently.

  • PAID VACATIONS 16.01 An employee in the active employ of the Company shall be entitled to an annual paid vacation pay on the following basis:

  • Earned Vacation Full-time employees, as defined in this article, shall accrue vacation as follows:

  • Unused Vacation ASF Members may accumulate unused vacation to any amount provided that once during each fiscal year each ASF Member's accumulation must be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours or less, unless the President determines that the ASF Member is unable to utilize vacation leave because of the requirements of the individual’s assignment or because of physical incapacity. This reduction must be accomplished on or before last day of the fiscal year. If this reduction is not accomplished on or before the last day of the fiscal year, the ASF Member’s accumulation shall automatically be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours effective on the last day of the fiscal year, and the amount of accumulation over two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours will transfer to the ASF Member’s bank of lapsed sick leave (See Article 18, section C, Subd.2). Vacation leave accrued during the pay period that includes the last day of a fiscal year, will be credited to each ASF Member’s balance after deductions are made for vacation used and/or reduced pursuant this Subdivision.

  • SECTION 4 - VACATION 4.1 Employee shall be entitled to accrue and take vacation leave in accordance with the policy applicable to employees of Manitoba.

  • Annual Vacation Leave 30.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.
