Induction of New Employees. (a) On commencing employment, within the first five (5) shifts, the Employee's immediate Supervisor shall introduce the new Employee to his/her Union xxxxxxx, or representative, who shall be allotted twenty (20) minutes to acquaint the new Employee with the Collective Agreement.
(b) During the induction period referred to in 7.02 (a) the new Employee may be asked to sign their Union membership card.
Induction of New Employees. The management shall inform the executive committee when new employees are hired. The employers local representative shall introduce the new employee to the shop xxxxxxx at the workplace as soon as possible. New employees shall, as soon as possible, be introduced to the union leader and/or to the company shop stewards. If the company organises meetings for new employees the trade union shall be allowed to introduce itself. The company shop stewards shall every month, upon request, be provided with a list of employees within the relevant field of agreement in the company. The list shall contain names, workplaces and times of appointment.
Induction of New Employees. The Union Delegate will be involved and co-operate in the current induction program for new employees in order to insure a smooth transition into the workforce.
(a) The Company has an induction program for all new employees which includes training on occupational health and safety and workers compensation.
(b) The union delegate will be given paid time off to speak to all new employees at induction. Using a standard format to insure a consistent presentation.
(c) All new employees will be inducted on site; the company will pay for this. In the event that any employee leaves within five days of the induction, 4 hours will be deducted from their pay.
Induction of New Employees. 46.1 All new employees will be entitled to induction training during the first 4 weeks of their contract.
46.2 The induction program will include: Introduction to all staff and explanation of their roles. Familiarisation with the SSTU Building. Emergency Evacuation Procedures. The mentoring by an appropriate member of staff. The provision of an induction handbook (to be developed). Training in regard to all relevant office information and communication technology and administrative procedures. Introduction to the Australian Services Union Office Representative
Induction of New Employees. The number of contract days for newly hired employees shall not exceed 186 days, with these additional days over 183 being used for the purpose of induction into USD 290, starting the 2021-2022 school year. Induction of New Employees. Union delegates and Union officials will be given adequate paid time to meet with new employees performing work that would otherwise be covered by this Agreement for the purposes of introducing and explaining this Agreement and Union matters. Except where otherwise agreed, this will occur at the induction of such persons.
Induction of New Employees. The Company will implement an induction program for all new and existing employees which will include training on occupational health and safety, workers compensation and other relevant employment related issues.
Induction of New Employees. (a) The Company undertakes that, as part of the induction procedure for any new employee covered by the Agreement, it shall advise the new employee that there is an Agreement on site that has been negotiated between the Company and the Union.
(b) The Company shall notify the Union Delegate or, in their absence, the Union Organiser of the induction as soon as practicable after the induction is scheduled and subject to the Act, allow the Delegate or Organiser to attend the induction for up to 20 minutes, during which time the Delegate or Organiser may explain the role of the Union on site and invite the employee to join the Union.
Induction of New Employees. As part of the Employer’s commitment to cooperative workplace relations, the Union will, have an opportunity to provide information for inclusion within the induction materials for new employees and in a visible place on the Gateways intranet for ongoing reference.
