Induction of New Employees. (a) On commencing employment, within the first five (5) shifts, the Employee's immediate Supervisor shall introduce the new Employee to his/her Union xxxxxxx, or representative, who shall be allotted twenty (20) minutes to acquaint the new Employee with the Collective Agreement. (b) During the induction period referred to in 7.02 (a) the new Employee may be asked to sign their Union membership card.

Induction of New Employees. The management shall inform the executive committee when new employees are hired. The employers local representative shall introduce the new employee to the shop xxxxxxx at the workplace as soon as possible. New employees shall, as soon as possible, be introduced to the union leader and/or to the company shop stewards. If the company organises meetings for new employees the trade union shall be allowed to introduce itself. The company shop stewards shall every month, upon request, be provided with a list of employees within the relevant field of agreement in the company. The list shall contain names, workplaces and times of appointment.

Induction of New Employees. (a) The Company undertakes that, as part of the induction procedure for any new employee covered by the Agreement, it shall advise the new employee that there is an Agreement on site that has been negotiated between the Company and the Union. (b) The Company shall notify the Union Delegate or, in their absence, the Union Organiser of the induction as soon as practicable after the induction is scheduled and subject to the Act, allow the Delegate or Organiser to attend the induction for up to 20 minutes, during which time the Delegate or Organiser may explain the role of the Union on site and invite the employee to join the Union.
