Instructional Support. Provide instruction, training, and/or develop training materials and training aids, for various responses, services, and support activities otherwise within scope of this contract.
Instructional Support. 1. The University shall provide access to facilities, services, texts and instructional support that is reasonably necessary for bargaining unit members, including traveling teachers, to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
a. Office and desk space,
b. Computer and internet connection;
c. Training and support for web-based tools;
d. Storage space;
e. Office, laboratory and instructional equipment;
f. Mailbox and email;
g. Office supplies;
h. Text, and/or reading materials;
i. Photocopying equipment.
2. No teacher shall be assigned to work out of more than three (3) classrooms over the course of a whole rotation (8 blocks), where practicable. This provision shall not apply to special education.
3. Private space for confidential conferences shall be provided, when such space is available.
Instructional Support. 19.1 The College shall provide all represented faculty members with the supplies, materials, technologies, and other resources, including keys to buildings and/or classrooms, which are necessary to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities. The College shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether or not a requested supply, material, technology, and/or other resource is reasonable and necessary for the faculty member to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities.
19.2 Occidental will fill Faculty requests for Teaching Assistant support based on department procedures, available resources, and the department chair’s discretion subject to the Xxxx’x approval. Such requests will be granted or denied by the College in its sole discretion.
19.3 Faculty shall be provided with their own office space (potentially shared). Full-time and Fractional Resident Faculty shall receive priority for private offices. A College- owned computer appropriate for their job duties, as determined by the College, will be provided to each Fractional and Full time faculty member.

Instructional support for full time bargaining unit members includes, but is not limited to, classroom access, office space, textbooks, instructional equipment, supplies and materials, software applications, audio-visual equipment and technological support such as guidance on software applications, fixing computer problems, assistance converting curricula to the web, and similar such support. If a bargaining unit member and the College cannot agree on what is “necessary” after good faith consultation, the College shall determine what is “necessary” at its discretion – in light of budgetary/financial needs and the best use of the College’s resources.
2. Full time bargaining unit members shall confer with academic administrators on necessary support for the delivery of their assigned course sections and the academic administrators will provide such necessary support, contingent upon budgetary limitations and competing priorities. If a bargaining unit member and the College cannot agree on what is “necessary” what is “necessary” at its discretion – in light of budgetary/financial needs and the best use of the College’s resources.
3. If events occur that prevent a full-time bargaining unit member from conducting a class, they shall contact the appropriate administrator who will determine resolution. The room assignment for a land-based course will be in the course’s department building whenever practicable. It is recognized that relevant factors for course room assignment include, among others, enrollment in individual sections, available capacity, technology, and accessibility for students. Ultimately, room assignment is determined at the College’s discretion.

Instructional Support. Instructional support Paraeducators will be trained and in place by 10 the first day of school and shall be used to support Kindergarten transition during the first 11 two (2) weeks.

Instructional Support. Auxiliary personnel employed to assist teachers shall perform services outlined by the District and be under the supervision of certified staff. When instructional support is to be hired, affected staff will be consulted during the interview process. Teachers shall be notified with respect to any job responsibilities they may have relative to supervision of any non-certificated personnel, and provided with any policies, rules, regulations or District practices related thereto. The evaluation of support personnel shall be the responsibility of the building principal. The supervising teacher may give input to the evaluation.
Instructional Support. X. Xxxx shall provide all represented faculty members with the supplies, materials, technologies, and other resources, including keys to buildings and/or classrooms, which are necessary to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities.
X. Xxxx shall provide Faculty members with a secure space to store their personal effect, such as laptops or bags, during instructional hours.
