Intern. Students who continue working during the school year shall be classified as an “Intern”. The employee must be currently attending school or be returning to school after the period of employment. The term "Intern Status" shall refer to an employee in a Student position.
Intern. Interns must check for themselves whether an accident insurance has been taken out for them by the internship provider and/or educational institution. It is recommended that the students/interns, as private individuals, take out third-party insurance themselves. Inclusion in a family policy is generally no longer sufficient for interns aged 18 or over.

Brief Description of Position: Teacher is appointed to a special assignment, under the direction of the Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment and/or the Director of Special Programs, to support and assist K-5/K-6 and/or 6-8 teachers in the full implementation of district adopted curricular programs.
