Job Re-Evaluation Procedures. 3.01 An employee who feels that there has been a significant change in the duties or responsibilities of their position to the extent that the revised duties or responsibilities do not conform with the existing job description shall confirm such changes with the Superintendent of Education/Programs. If the changes are confirmed, then the employee shall be asked to complete a revised job description and Job Fact Sheet in collaboration with the Superintendent of Education/Programs. Once the revised job description and Job Fact Sheet have been signed by the employee, the Superintendent of Education/Programs and all other incumbents with the same duties and responsibilities, these documents shall be forwarded to the Manager of Employee Relations/Services, accompanied by a completed Job Re-Evaluation Request Form. Where the Department Head does not confirm the changes, the employee may appeal that decision to the appropriate Superintendent of Education. The decision of the appropriate Superintendent may be the subject of a grievance. If the changes are confirmed, then the employee shall be required to complete a revised job description and Job Fact Sheet in collaboration with their immediate supervisor. Once the revised job description and Job Fact Sheet have been signed by the employee, the immediate supervisor and all other incumbents in the same position, these documents shall be forwarded to the Manager of Employee Relations/Services, accompanied by a completed Job Re-Evaluation Request Form. Requests for job re-evaluations are to be submitted either by April 1st or October 1st each year.
