JOB STEWARDS AND BUSINESS AGENTS. 14.01 Job stewards shall be recognized on all jobs and shall not be discriminated against. The Employer shall be notified by the Union of the name or names of such job stewards and in the event of a layoff, or reduction of the work force, such job stewards shall, at all times, be given preference of continued employment until completion of the work unless otherwise agreed between the parties hereto. JOB STEWARDS AND BUSINESS AGENTS. Job Stewards shall be recognized on all jobs and they shall not be discriminated against. Business Agents shall have access during luncheon period to all jobs covered by this Agreement in the carrying out of their regular duties, but at other times they shall first notify the Employer or his Superintendent. It shall be the intent of this Agreement that the Job Xxxxxxx will be the last man transferred or laid off with the exception of the Xxxxxxx, unless there is just cause for dismissal in the opinion of the Employer, in which case it may be appealed to the Joint Board of the Masonry Industry. The Union shall notify the Employer or Job Superintendent, in writing, of the names of the Shop Stewards and any changes thereof. CLAUSE 17 -- WAGE GUARANTEE The Union will require any new signatory, or any current signatory who defaults on the payment of wages, welfare, pension, advancement fund, union dues, or any other monetary requirement defined in the Collective Agreement, to post a bond in an amount from a minimum of four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) to a maximum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00). The bond will be posted for a minimum of two (2) years, or until the Union is satisfied the Employer has proven financial responsibility. The form of bond posted will be to the satisfaction of the Union. It will not be a breach of this Agreement for the Union to remove its members from a job when an Employer does not post a bond as required by the Union. An Employer will be deemed to be in default sixty (60) days after he has incurred penalty as pro- vided under Clause 3 of this Agreement. CLAUSE 18 -- APPRENTICES

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.   • Supplier Personnel The Customer and Supplier agree and acknowledge that in the event of the Supplier ceasing to provide the Services or part of them for any reason, Call Off Schedule 10 (Staff Transfer) shall apply. The Supplier shall not and shall procure that any relevant Sub-Contractor shall not take any step (expressly or implicitly and directly or indirectly by itself or through any other person) without the prior written consent of the Customer to dissuade or discourage any employees engaged in the provision of the Services from transferring their employment to the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier and/or Replacement Sub-Contractor. During the Termination Assistance Period, the Supplier shall and shall procure that any relevant Sub-Contractor shall: give the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier and/or Replacement Sub-Contractor reasonable access to the Supplier's personnel and/or their consultation representatives to present the case for transferring their employment to the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier and/or to discuss or consult on any measures envisaged by the Customer, Replacement Supplier and/or Replacement Sub-Contractor in respect of persons expected to be Transferring Supplier Employees; co-operate with the Customer and the Replacement Supplier to ensure an effective consultation process and smooth transfer in respect of Transferring Supplier Employees in line with good employee relations and the effective continuity of the Services. The Supplier shall immediately notify the Customer or, at the direction of the Customer, the Replacement Supplier of any period of notice given by the Supplier or received from any person referred to in the Staffing Information, regardless of when such notice takes effect. The Supplier shall not for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of transfer re-employ or re-engage or entice any employees, suppliers or Sub-Contractors whose employment or engagement is transferred to the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier except that this paragraph 10.5 shall not apply where an offer is made pursuant to an express right to make such offer under Call Off Schedule 10.1 (Staff Transfer) in respect of a Transferring Supplier Employee not identified in the Supplier's Final Supplier Personnel List.

  • Contractor Personnel Contractor's staff is expected to present a professional appearance. All personnel of the Contractor will be neat, well groomed, properly uniformed in industry standard uniforms and are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a responsible and courteous manner while performing any work under this Agreement and/or whenever they are on District property. The following code of conduct will be adhered to by the Contractor, his agent(s) and/or his employees. If Contractor fails to ensure that its employees or other agents comply with these requirements, then Contractor may be terminated for cause under this Agreement:
