Joint Relations Committee. (a) The Employer and the Union shall establish a committee to be known as the Joint Relations Committee, composed of three (3) representatives of the Employer and three (3) representatives of the executive of the Union. This Committee shall meet at its discretion.
(b) The mandate of the Joint Relations and its sub-committees shall consist of the following:
(i) Issues pertaining to or arising from the Collective Agreement;
(ii) Operation of the joint committee process including the creation of sub committees;
(iii) Discussion of issues arising from the passing or amending of statues or regulations that result in changes to the Collective Agreement, which shall be discussed at the first available Joint Relations Committee meeting or earlier with the mutual consent of the co-chairs.
Joint Relations Committee. The parties agree that a Joint Relations Committee shall be established for the purpose of discussing matters of concern to either party and to make recommendations regarding these matters. The Committee shall be composed of three (3) members from the Union selected by the Union and three (3) members from Management. The Chairmanship shall be rotated at each meeting. The Committee shall meet as required but at least four (4) times per year. Minutes regarding matters discussed and recommended actions to be taken shall be kept. An agenda is to be submitted to either party five (5) working days in advance of each meeting. The meetings will be scheduled on the first (1st) Monday of the month following the ratification and on the first (1st) Monday of the month every three (3) months thereafter. Joint Relations Committee. University/Faculty Association Joint Relations Committee
Joint Relations Committee. 9.01 There shall be a Joint Relations Committee consisting of up to four (4) Members appointed by the University and up to four (4) Members appointed by the Bargaining Unit. The Parties agree that there is benefit to draw representatives from the Parties’ diverse locations and worksites. Such aforementioned representatives shall be provided video/telephone conferencing access if required.
9.02 The Committee shall meet every three (3) months, or at the written request of either Party to discuss matters of common concern or issues arising from the application of this Collective Agreement. A meeting shall be convened within five (5) days of a request by either Party, unless otherwise agreed. The proposed agenda items shall be shared prior to the meeting. Unless agreed otherwise, this meeting will not be used to discuss the subject matter of any issues that are at the time being resolved through the Grievance and/or Arbitration Procedure as set out in Article 11. This meeting may be cancelled at the written request of either Party subject to mutual agreement.
9.03 Meetings of the Committee shall take place at times mutually agreeable to the Parties and shall be considered time worked for the Bargaining Unit Members of the Committee.
9.04 Nothing in this Article shall prevent the Parties from continuing to meet informally to discuss issues of common concern.
Joint Relations Committee. The Union members of the Joint Relations Committee shall consist of not more than five (5) employees.
Joint Relations Committee. L36:01 The Board and the Union shall establish a Joint Relations Committee to provide a forum for communications and discussion for any matter that affects Union-management relations. L36:02 The Joint Relations Committee shall be comprised of three (3) representatives appointed by the Board and three (3) representatives appointed by the Union. The committee may call on such resource person(s) as it deems appropriate.
Joint Relations Committee. 12.01 The Board and the C.E.I. shall establish a Joint Relations Committee for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to or arising out of this Agreement and any matter that affects union-management relations including staffing issues.
12.02 Any matter which is of concern to either party to this Agreement may be the subject of discussion at scheduled Joint Relations Committee meetings. Meetings will be held monthly during the school year unless mutually agreed to cancel. Additional meetings may be arranged as mutually agreed.
12.03 This committee does not in any way form part of the grievance or arbitration procedure set forth in this Agreement and no matter which is the subject matter of the grievance or arbitration procedure shall in any event be the subject of discussion at a meeting of this committee.

After each meeting the Committee will write either a) a report on progress and/or decisions or b) a recommendation for action. Administrative assistance shall be made available by the School. Reports containing recommendations shall be submitted to the Head of School, the Board and the Alliance during each term. Where the Committee cannot reach a consensus, the representatives from each party may submit a separate report. In the event of an impasse, either party may request that the Committee be chaired by an independent chairperson who shall attempt to facilitate consensus, but shall have no power to make a binding decision. The costs of the chairperson shall be borne equally by the parties. The chairperson shall be Xxxxxx XxXxxxxxx or as otherwise agreed upon between the parties from time to time provided that, if the chairperson is unavailable or otherwise unwilling to act, the parties shall agree upon another chairperson and, in the event of disagreement, shall agree to request the assistance of one of the persons specified in Article 8.02.

Joint Relations Committee. 38:01 The Board and the Union shall establish a Joint Relations Committee to provide a forum for communications and discussion for any matter that affects Union-management relations.
38:02 The Joint Relations Committee shall be comprised of three (3) representatives appointed by the Board and three (3) representatives appointed by the Union. The committee may call on such resource person(s) as it deems appropriate.
38:03 Meetings shall be convened at the request of either party twice per semester, and at other times by mutual consent of the parties but not more than once per month. Such requests shall include a proposed agenda for the meeting.
38:04 The Joint Relations Committee Meetings will be held at a time and a location mutually agreed upon by both parties.
38:05 The committee may make reports and recommendations from time-to-time. Any such report or recommendation shall be presented in writing to both the Director or Designate and the President of the Bargaining Unit who shall undertake to discuss them with their respective parties. The results of these deliberations shall be communicated to the other party.
