KICK-OFF AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. This task will begin with a project kick-off meeting during the first month following notice to proceed. At this meeting, we will establish a collaborative effort with City staff to set a detailed project schedule, including meeting and major deliverable dates, establish a finalize the community engagement plan, set communications protocol, and collect data and information to initiate the planning process. Following this initial project kickoff, our team proposes monthly project management calls between the Xxxxxx project leadership and the City’s project manager to coordinate up-coming project activities and deliverables and discuss other opportunities or concerns that may have come up during the planning process and require attention. Xxxxxx will provide monthly progress reports and monthly invoices to facilitate a smooth planning process. Our recommended community engagement tasks are embedded in each Task and are identified as “Community Engagement Activities”. Our overall approach to community engagement is as follows: Community participation should clearly be an important aspect of the planning process for Fairfield and our Team has extensive background in engaging the public in a wide array of activities that ranges from the typical public meeting to online engagement or to more unique activities such as coffee klatches or quick surveys at public festivals. Because any community participation approach must be tailored to the community based on more extensive conversations with staff and elected officials, we want to provide for some flexibility in our approach. For the purposes of this scope of services, we have summarized how we will go about developing a community participation plan as well as outlining a range of forums we can use, and have used successfully, to engage the public. The first step of this task will be to develop a community engagement plan for the entire process with specific feedback and discussion with staff and elected officials. The purpose will be to identify communication formats both internally between staff and the consulting team, and externally, between the city and the public.   • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Community Engagement Integration Activities The SP will support the HSP to engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals.

  • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property. The Community Policies are available at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/policies.pdf or on request from the management office and are considered part of this Agreement.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include: (1) convening and participating in the Community Task Force and other advisory groups; (2) ensuring that regular meetings of the Community Task Force are held to apprise participants of the status of the development process and to solicit comments, opinions, advice, and recommendations on the planning and implementation of the Grantee's revitalization efforts; and (3) if requested by HUD, entering into a memorandum of understanding with the members of the Community Task Force setting forth the manner and frequency of task force meetings, the method (if any) for designating resident and community participants, and the issues that the task force will discuss and develop.

  • IRO Engagement 1. Indivior shall engage an IRO that possesses the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO shall conduct the review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph E. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.9 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by Indivior in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify Indivior if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, Indivior may continue to engage the IRO. 2. If Indivior engages a new IRO during the term of the CIA, that IRO must also meet the requirements of this Appendix. If a new IRO is engaged, Indivior shall submit the information identified in Section V.A.9 of the CIA to OIG within 30 days of engagement of the IRO. Within 30 days after OIG receives this information or any additional information submitted by Indivior at the request of OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify Indivior if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, Indivior may continue to engage the IRO.

  • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.

  • Community Service You may be requested to perform some form of community service within the residence facility.

  • Community Relations Chancellor shall establish and maintain an appropriate community relations program. Chancellor shall attend important college and community events, develop relationships with other key public and private agencies in each of the District's relevant communities where colleges are located and be significantly involved in the District's relevant local communities.

  • Labor Management Relations The Employer and the Union recognize that the character and quality of the Union/Management relationship in each Agency has an impact upon productivity and quality services. Accordingly, the parties agree to support joint Labor/Management training in skills and concepts which may contribute to increased Union/Management understanding and cooperative relationships.

  • Local Health Integration Networks and Restructuring In the event of a health service integration with another service provider the Employer and the Union agree to meet. (a) The Employer shall notify affected employees and the Union as soon as a formal decision to integrate is taken. (b) The Employer and the Union shall begin discussions concerning the specifics of the integration forthwith after a decision to integrate is taken. (c) As soon as possible in the course of developing a plan for the implementation of the integration the Employer shall notify affected employees and the Union of the projected staffing needs, and their location.
