KICK-OFF AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. This task will begin with a project kick-off meeting during the first month following notice to proceed. At this meeting, we will establish a collaborative effort with City staff to set a detailed project schedule, including meeting and major deliverable dates, establish a finalize the community engagement plan, set communications protocol, and collect data and information to initiate the planning process. Following this initial project kickoff, our team proposes monthly project management calls between the Xxxxxx project leadership and the City’s project manager to coordinate up-coming project activities and deliverables and discuss other opportunities or concerns that may have come up during the planning process and require attention. Xxxxxx will provide monthly progress reports and monthly invoices to facilitate a smooth planning process. Our recommended community engagement tasks are embedded in each Task and are identified as “Community Engagement Activities”. Our overall approach to community engagement is as follows: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PLAN Community participation should clearly be an important aspect of the planning process for Fairfield and our Team has extensive background in engaging the public in a wide array of activities that ranges from the typical public meeting to online engagement or to more unique activities such as coffee klatches or quick surveys at public festivals. Because any community participation approach must be tailored to the community based on more extensive conversations with staff and elected officials, we want to provide for some flexibility in our approach. For the purposes of this scope of services, we have summarized how we will go about developing a community participation plan as well as outlining a range of forums we can use, and have used successfully, to engage the public. The first step of this task will be to develop a community engagement plan for the entire process with specific feedback and discussion with staff and elected officials. The purpose will be to identify communication formats both internally between staff and the consulting team, and externally, between the city and the public.   • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Community Engagement Integration Activities The SP will support the HSP to engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals.

  • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property. The Community Policies are available at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/policies.pdf or on request from the management office and are considered part of this Agreement.

  • Community Services a) Grantee shall provide the community-based services outlined in Texas Health and Safety Code Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter § 534.053, as incorporated into services defined in Information Item G, incorporated by reference and posted at: xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxxxx.xxx/doing-business-hhs/provider-portals/behavioral-health- services-providers/behavioral-health-provider-resources/community-mental-health- contracts.

  • SECTION 109 OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. No person in the United States shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds made available under this title. Section 109 further provides that discrimination on the basis of age under the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 or with respect to an otherwise qualified handicapped individual as provided in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, is prohibited.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include:

  • IRO Engagement 1. CHSI shall engage an IRO that possesses the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO shall conduct the review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph D. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.12 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by CHSI in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify CHSI if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, CHSI may continue to engage the IRO.

  • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.

  • Citizen Volunteer or Community Service Leave Leave without pay may be granted for community volunteerism or service.
