Leave to Attend Court. The City shall grant leave of absence without loss of seniority to an employee who is subpoenaed to serve as a juror or appear as a witness in any Court. The City shall pay such an employee their normal earnings, less payment they received for services as a juror or witness, or earning from other employment, excluding payment for traveling, meals or other expenses shall be assigned to the City. The employee will present proof of service and the amount of pay received.
Leave to Attend Court. Should an employee be placed on Jury Duty or be called as a witness to a court of law, such employee shall be granted the necessary leave of absence with pay of up to one month duration. The employee shall reimburse to CARSA any monies received by her with the exception of the amounts received for travelling and meal expenses.
Leave to Attend Court. If you are required to be a witness at a court of law you will be granted leave without pay unless leave with pay is granted at your leader’s discretion.
Leave to Attend Court. 17.5.1 A Crew Member who is called as a juror or summoned as a witness in a case to which they are not a party nor in which they have any vested interest in the proceedings, shall retain their seniority and shall continue to accumulate service time during their absence. Compensation at the FCMs current salary will be maintained by the Company for a maximum of thirty (30) calendar days, less any compensation he may receive because of jury duty. This maximum may be extended for extenuating circumstances.
17.5.2 In addition, the FCM shall receive GDOs on a pro rata basis for the days on which they are not required to carry out their legal duty.
Leave to Attend Court. 10.4.1 A FCM who is called as a juror or summoned as a witness in a case to which he is not a party nor in which he has any vested interest in the proceedings, shall retain his seniority and shall continue to accumulate service time during his absence. During this period, the Company shall pay him his regular salary. In return, any sums received from the Court for his services – excluding meal, accommodation, transportation and parking expenses – shall be remitted to the Company. In addition, the FCM shall receive GDOs on a pro rata basis for the days on which he is not required to carry out his legal duty.
10.4.2 To be eligible under article 10.4.1, the FCM shall have first submitted an application to be relieved of serving as a juror or appearing as a witness. He shall complete and submit the form given to him by the Company’s Human Resources Department for this purpose.
Leave to Attend Court. 14.6.1 If it is necessary for an Employee to attend a court on ACES or any client’s behalf in connection with any matter arising out of or in connection with an Employee’s duties, the Employee’s rosters will be adjusted via shift transfer to enable attendance without loss of rostered hours.
14.6.2 In order to attract payment for attendance at court, attendance must be supported by the provision to ACES of evidence of attendance and duration of such attendance.
Leave to Attend Court. If it is necessary for an Employee to attend a court on ACES or Company’s client’s behalf in connection with any matter arising out of or in connection with an Employee’s duties, the Employee will be rostered to attend. Subject to Company approval the Employee will be paid for time spent in court at the casual rate of pay.
14.1.1 In order to attract payment for attendance at court, attendance must be supported by the provision to ACES of evidence of attendance and duration of such attendance.
Leave to Attend Court. Cabin Crew shall be paid (at the rate the employee would have received had they been at work (not including overtime or variable allowances) when required to attend proceedings at any Court in their capacity as a Cabin Crew member.
Leave to Attend Court. .01 A Pilot who is called as a juror or summoned as a witness in a case in which he is not a party, or in which he has no vested interest in the proceedings, is entitled to and shall be granted a Leave To Attend Court.
.02 The Company shall continue to cover one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of the Company paid Benefits provided the employee continues to pay their portion of Benefit costs, for the duration of the leave.
.03 Vacation pay, pension contributions, SDC, and YOS do not accrue during the Leave.
Leave to Attend Court. A flight attendant will be paid when required to attend proceedings at any Court in the capacity as a flight attendant.
