Level Two - Principal. If the Association is not satisfied with a decision from Level One above, it may initiate the formal grievance procedure with the appropriate Building Principal. The Association must present the grievance in writing on the completed form Appendix B. The completed form must be presented to the appropriate Principal and the Principal must meet with the Association President or designee within five (5) school days. The Principal must render a decision within five (5) school days of the meeting.
Level Two - Principal. If the Individual is not satisfied with the results of Level One above, the Individual may continue with a Level Two formal meeting. The meeting will include the individual, the appropriate building Principal, and, if requested by the individual, an Association Representative. The individual must present the completed form Appendix B, within five (5) school days of the Level One Informal discussion. The completed form must be presented to the Association and the appropriate Principal. The Principal must render a decision within five (5) school days of the meeting.
Level Two - Principal a. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision has been rendered within five (5) days after such discussion, he/she may file the grievance in writing and in the prescribed form with the President of the Association and the Principal.
b. The written grievance shall include a clear statement of the facts causing the grievance, a reference to the specific provision of the contract allegedly violated and shall include the remedy requested by the unit member.
c. Within five (5) days of receipt of the written grievance, the Principal and his/her representative shall meet with the grievant in an effort to resolve the problem.
d. Within five (5) days of the meeting required in 2(c) above, the Principal shall render a written decision (which shall include reasons based upon the circumstances of the grievance) to the grievant with a copy going to the Association President.
e. If the subject matter of the grievance is such that the Principal cannot order appropriate relief, the grievance may be filed directly with the Superintendent at Level Three. Any such grievance shall indicate that it is being filed directly at Level Three and shall include a statement of reasons for such filing. If the Superintendent so determines, he or she may refer the grievance for processing at Level Two prior to accepting the grievance at Level Three.
Level Two - Principal. If the grievance is not resolved informally to the satisfaction of the grievant, or if no response has been given by the principal or immediate superior within five (5) school days after the informal discussion, then the grievant shall file the grievance in writing with his principal or immediate supervisor within five (5) school days after the principal or immediate superior’s response or ten (10) school days after the informal discussion, whichever is sooner.
Level Two - Principal. A. In the event the grievant(s) is/are not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at the informal level, the grievant(s) may file a grievance in writing with the supervisor/principal using the form furnished by the Board within seven (7) days of the receipt of the Level One decision. Said grievance shall contain a statement of the alleged facts upon which the grievance is based and a reference to the specific provisions of the Agreement allegedly violated, misinterpreted, or misapplied.
B. After the receipt of a written grievance, timely filed, the super- visor/principal shall arrange a hearing with the grievant(s) to be held within seven (7) days at a time mutually agreeable. The grievant(s) and the supervisor/principal each may be accompanied at said hearing by an employee of the District each assigned respectively by the District and the Association. A written statement of the action taken and the specific reason(s) therefore shall be sent to the grievant(s) on the prescribed form within seven (7) days after the hearing.
Level Two - Principal. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision has been rendered within ten
Level Two - Principal. If, as a result of the discussion, the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the grievant within five (5) school days, he/she shall set forth the grievance in writing to the principal, specifying:
a. the nature of the grievance;
b. the nature and extent of the injury, loss or inconvenience;
c. the results of previous discussions;
d. his/her dissatisfaction with decisions previously rendered. The principal shall communicate his/her decision to the grievant in writing within three (3) school days of receipt of the written grievance.
Level Two - Principal. If as a result of the discussion, the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the aggrieved person and Association within five (5) school days, s/he may set forth his/her grievance in writing to his/her principal on the grievance form provided. All Level Two grievances shall be initiated within ten (10) calendar days after the event or circumstance being grieved takes place. The principal shall communicate his/her decision to the aggrieved person and Association in writing within five (5) school days of receipt of the written grievance.
Level Two - Principal. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of her grievance at Level One, or if no decisions had been rendered within five (5) schools days after the presentation of the grievance, she may file the grievance in writing the Associations within three (3) school days. Within ten (10) school days in the grievance shall be referred to the Principal by the Association.
