Load. A term that refers to either a consumer of Energy or the amount of demand (MW) or Energy (MWh) consumed by certain customers. Load Serving Entity (“LSE”). Any entity, including a Municipal Electric System and a Cooperatively Owned Electric System, authorized or required by law, regulatory authorization or requirement, agreement, or contractual obligation to supply Energy, Capacity and/or Ancillary Services to retail customers located within the NYCA, including an entity that takes service from the ISO to supply its own Load within the NYCA; provided, however, that such entity has obtained all governmental authorizations necessary to serve Load in the NYCA.

Load. Clarify whether Equipment loads are to be measured or stipulated and what the impact will be if they change. If the Equipment loads are stipulated, the baseline should be carefully documented and agreed to by both parties.
Load. The load is the instructional and/or non-instructional workload (or a portion thereof) of a faculty member and is measured as a decimal fraction or percentage of a full-time faculty member’s academic year employment obligation, as defined by this bargaining agreement, and known as one full-time equivalent faculty (1.00 FTEF). The following are the different types of load:
Load. An instructional load hour equivalent is a unit of measure used for the purposes of calculating required time for instruction, service, and accountability. One lecture hour (50 minutes based on Carnegie unit) equals 1.00 instructional clock hour equivalent. Instructional contact may be provided by either Instructional or Service Faculty. Faculty who are reassigned to non- instructional duties will be accountable to perform such duties for at least two clock hours per week for each load hour of reassignment. See Article 20 for definition. Meetings for Problem Solving See Article 20 for definition. MOUs are district-wide agreements between the leadership of the Adjunct Faculty, the Faculty Association, and the Chancellor/Xxxxxxx. MOUs are by nature reactive to external requirements and allow MCCCD to address issues that require timely response that cannot otherwise be addressed within the regular FACT process time frame. The role and responsibilities of the Occupational Program Director shall be defined in the College Plan. Rio Salado College’s faculty model does not include Occupational Program Directors and so is exempt from this definition.
Load. Determination of the required hourly assignment for a Full-time Faculty person. See Article 10C.
Load. The maximum load for unit members in Fall and Spring semesters is 67% of a full-time faculty member’s annual load. There is no maximum load for unit members in Winter or Summer intersessions.

Load. 18.1.1 A bargaining unit member's assignment shall be based upon a Full-Time Load (FTL), during the regular contract year. The scale in Section 18.3 defines the FTL for all types of assignment.
