Salary Payments and Deductions. Salary payments will be electronically deposited twice per month on or before the 15th and 30th of each month commencing each contract year in the month of September. In most instances electronic payments will be deposited on the Friday prior to those dates if they fall on a weekend. The Business Office will annually electronically publish a list of payroll dates for the ensuing contract year. Teachers will be paid on a 24 payment basis with equal amounts paid beginning September 15. Payment for additional work will be made as reported by program supervisors.

Salary Payments and Deductions. For the 2017-2018 contract year, there shall be a two percent (2%) base increase on the salary schedule from the 2016-2017 contract year. For the 2017-2018 school year, bargaining unit members will advance one vertical step on the salary schedule from their placement on the 2016-2017 salary schedule. Retroactive pay for the 2017-2018 school year shall be paid by January 31, 2018.

BASE SALARY - 2020-21 school year increases by 0% on Appendix I, B.* *Based on the May 2020 five-year forecast, the projected general fund cash carryover for fiscal year 2020 will determine whether the base increase for the 2020-21 school year set forth in Section A.2. above will be modified. Specifically, as of June 1, 2020, if the five-year forecast general fund cash balance carryover (i.e., Line 12.010) reflects an amount of twelve million dollars or greater, the base increase for the 2020-21 school year will equal 1.99%. Additionally, based on the May 2020 five-year forecast, if the general fund cash balance carryover (i.e., Line 12.010) for fiscal year 2021 reflects an amount of ten million dollars or greater, the parties agree to extend the current contract for a third year (i.e., July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022) with a base salary increase for the 2021-22 school year equal to 1.99%.
B. SALARY SCHEDULE - The schedule provides that the basic salary classifications of the teacher shall be determined by professional qualifications–training and experience. The salary schedule shall provide for fifteen (15) experience steps (0-14) and nine training columns. They are: CLASS B A teacher holding the Bachelor's Degree or work equivalent for Trade and Industrial teachers CLASS B+15 A teacher having fifteen (15) semester hours or more of additional training taken after receiving the baccalaureate degree and certification/licensure CLASS B+30 A teacher having thirty (30) semester hours or more of additional training taken after receiving the baccalaureate degree and certification/licensure CLASS A A teacher holding the Master's Degree, or a Permanent or Life Certificate/Licensure CLASS A-1 A teacher having fifteen (15) semester hours beyond the Master's Degree CLASS A-2 A teacher having thirty (30) semester hours beyond the Master's Degree CLASS A-3 A teacher having forty-five (45) semester hours beyond the Master's Degree CLASS A-4 A teacher having sixty (60) semester hours beyond the Master's Degree DOCTORATE CLASS A teacher holding a doctorate *(For salary schedule placement beyond the B.A. column, only post degree graduate credit hours and in-service hours will receive credit.)

Salary Payments and Deductions. 1. Upon written request, the member may have deducted an appropriate remittance for any of the following: Section 125, 403(B), savings bonds, credit union, insurance, Oregon Education Association Foundation and/or annuity plans. If the financial institution and the accounting software that the District uses is compatible with and allows for a direct deposit, then the District will provide that as an option for the employee.
2. Upon written request prior to September 10 and/or December 10 of any school year, a member may elect to receive a draw on September 15 or December 15 or a regular mid-month draw option (on the 15th of each month) which will provide payment of $500 for licensed employees and $250 for classified employees or no draw. Employees hired after the start of the year may elect the above options at the time of hire.
3. Pay days shall be the last business day of the month. Less than 12 month employees who have elected twelve (12) checks, will receive three (3) checks in June; two (2) paid on their last contract day, one (1) on the last business day of the month. Employees who elect ten (10) checks will receive the balance of contract on the last business day of June.
