Lunches and Breaks. Custodians, secretaries, paraprofessionals, monitors, and food service Employees shall receive one (1) paid fifteen (15) minute break for each three and one-half (3 1/2) hours of work. Employees working less than three and one-half (3 1/2) hours shall receive one (1) paid fifteen (15) minute break during their workday. Custodians, cooks, secretaries, monitors, and paraprofessionals shall take one unpaid lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes for each full day worked. Scheduling of Employee breaks and lunches will reflect consideration of the Employee's preference. The immediate supervisor will schedule all breaks and lunches with the employee’s input. Cooks shall receive a daily lunch at no cost.
Lunches and Breaks. Clerks shall receive a 30-minute lunch break regularly occurring as near the middle of the workday as practicable. A 15-minute paid break will be provided as near the middle of each half shift as practicable.

Employees on such a schedule will be permitted one (1) paid 20−minute break at the middle of the workday, depending on operational practicalities. The Department Head shall determine such break. The 20− minute break shall not be cumulative, combined, not taken at the start or end of the workday.
