M embership. As sole bargaining agent, the Association will accept into voluntary membership all teachers covered by this A greement without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression sexual orientation, marital status, genetic information, disability, pregnancy or a related condition, veteran status, age, or homelessness, or previous affiliation with other teacher organizations. 2.1 Entirety of Agreement
M embership. A. At the time of hire, the employee will be provided with a Sick Bank application form. The employee must elect either or not to join the Bank within thirty (30) calendar days of their date of hire. If the application form is not returned within this time frame the employee will be considered as having declined membership. Membership will become effective as of the date the employee becomes eligible per Section II, above. Once enrolled in the Bank, membership is continuous. Any new member must join by contributing one sick day. No other days will be contributed unless the bank falls below two hundred days and then all members will be assessed one day. All days can be carried over from one contract period to another. B. A one -time open enrollment period will be offered to those individuals employed by the District as of the 2018-2019 school year, as follows: i. Eligible employees will be provided with a thirty (30) calendar day window during which they can elect to accept or decline to join the Bank. ii. The Human Resources Department (‘‘H R’’) will email to these employees and the Association President the Open Enrollment Election form, which the employee must complete and return to HR. iii. Employees choosing to join the Bank during this open enrollment period will be assessed two (2) sick days. iv. The open enrollment period will close by November 1, 2019.
M embership. 1. Employees who donate one (1) day of accumulated personal sick leave to the Sick Leave Bank shall be members of the Bank and eligible for its services. 2. In the event the Sick Leave Council assesses additional days to keep the Bank solvent, a member must donate the required additional day to continue his/her membership in the Bank. 3. When a member draws from the Sick Leave Bank, they will need to donate one (1) day back to the Bank the following school year to remain a member. In the event that the Sick Leave Council assesses additional days to keep the Bank solvent the same year, the member will be exempted from the additional assessment, having just donated a day to remain a member.

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

  • Board Membership During the Employment Term, Executive will serve as a member of the Board, subject to any required Board and/or stockholder approval.

  • Termination of Membership You may terminate your membership by giving us written notice or by withdrawing your minimum required membership share(s), if any, and closing all your accounts.   • Membership Agreement Membership in USA Gymnastics is a privilege and may be (i) denied, withheld, or non-renewed at any time by USA Gymnastics and/or (ii) suspended or terminated in accordance with USA Gymnastics’ bylaws, policies and standards. You agree that USA Gymnastics has the right to deny, withhold, non-renew, suspend or terminate your membership if you engage in any sexual misconduct, or if USA Gymnastics has reason to believe you pose a threat to the safety of athletes or other members. You are bound by all safe sport rules, policies and procedures whether published by USA Gymnastics or the U.S. Center for Safe Sport (“Center”), as well as all applicable state, federal, and local laws, including applicable criminal laws. You consent to the jurisdiction of the Center. Any discipline imposed by the Center or USA Gymnastics extends to your participation in all aspects of the Olympic Movement. You agree that any disciplinary measure, whether interim or final, whether imposed before or after the date of this Agreement, whether expired or in effect, may be posted on our website or otherwise publicly published and may include information identifying you and describing the misconduct alleged. You authorize USA Gymnastics and its members to disclose, in good faith, any information or honestly held opinions about you, including without limitation any membership records, USA Gymnastics SafeSport or Center information, or other disciplinary information, with any current or potential employer of yours. You further agree that USA Gymnastics may disclose any information provided by, or about, you as USA Gymnastics determines is reasonably necessary to comply with any law, regulation, legal process, or any request by any governmental body or agency, the Center, or the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (“USOPC”). TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, YOU FOREVER RELEASE AND DISCHARGE USA GYMNASTICS AND/OR ITS MEMBERS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE OR CLAIM OF ANY KIND OR NATURE, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, WHETHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, WHETHER NOW EXISTING OR ACCRUING IN THE FUTURE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY INFORMATION OR OPINIONS DISCLOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION.

  • Employment Relations Education Leave Employment Relations Education Leave will be allowed in accordance with the Employment Relations Act.

  • Membership Units The Company is initially organized with One (1) class of Membership Interests, designated in Units, which Units are initially the only class of equity in the Company. The Units shall have no par value and shall be of a single class with identical rights. The Company shall have a first lien on the Units of any Member for any debt or liability owed by such Member to the Company. Additional and different classes of Membership Interests represented by different Units may be created and issued to new or existing Members on such terms and conditions as the Governors may determine. Such additional and different classes may have different rights, powers and preferences (including, without limitation, voting rights and distribution preferences), which may be superior to those of existing Members. Members shall have no preemptive rights to acquire additional or newly created Units.

  • Membership Eligibility To join the Credit Union, you must meet the membership requirements, including purchase and maintenance of the minimum required share(s) (“membership share”) as set forth in the Credit Union’s bylaws. You authorize us to check your account, credit and employment history, and obtain reports from third parties, including credit reporting agencies, to verify your eligibility for the accounts and services you request.

  • Country Club Membership Employer agrees to reimburse Executive for reasonable country club membership dues, in accordance with Employer’s policy.

  • Committee Membership 1. Local representatives on committees specifically established by this Collective Agreement shall be appointed by the local. 2. In addition, if the employer wishes to establish a committee which includes bargaining unit members, it shall notify the local about the mandate of the committee, and the local shall appoint the representatives. The local will consider the mandate of the committee when appointing the representatives. If the employer wishes to discuss the appointment of a representative, the superintendent, or designate, and the president or designate of the local may meet and discuss the matter. 3. Release time with pay shall be provided by the employer to any employee who is a representative on a committee referred to in Article A.5.1 and A.5.2 above, in order to attend meetings that occur during normal instructional hours. Teacher teaching on call (TTOC) costs shall be borne by the employer. 4. When a TTOC is appointed to a committee referred to in Article A.5.1 and A.5.2 above, and the committee meets during normal instructional hours, the TTOC shall be paid pursuant to the provisions in each district respecting TTOC Pay and Benefits. A TTOC attending a “half day” meeting shall receive a half day’s pay. If the meeting extends past a “half day,” the TTOC shall receive a full day’s pay.
