Maximum Annual Leave Accrual. Employees may accumulate maximum annual leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, an employee may exceed the annual leave balance limit between the time the leave is accrued and his/her next anniversary date of state employment. Leave accumulated above two hundred forty (240) hours must be used by the next anniversary date.

Maximum Annual Leave Accrual. In def erring annual leave, an employee may not accumulate a balance in excess of 1.5 x 12 month entitlement. For the purpose of managing maximum annual leave accrual leave limits are based on the employee’s annual leave entitlement and not pro rata accrual. Employees may be exempt f rom the above where they are genuinely accumulating annual leave f or a special purpose and their Manager has provided written approval. Managers are not to unreasonably withhold approval f or the exemption. However where this exemption is granted an employee’s maximum annual leave accrual is not to exceed 10 weeks and must be taken at the time agreed. Managers/Team Leaders are to ensure employees do not exceed the maximum entitlement. Employees who are in excess of this entitlement and not subject to an exemption may be directed to take annual leave. In directing an employee to take such leave the Manager will take into account the needs of the business and any reasonable requests f rom the employee as to the leave period.
Maximum Annual Leave Accrual. The maximum annual leave balance for Police Captains shall be 800 hours. Employees shall not accrue annual leave above 800 hours.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Payment of Annual Leave Upon resignation, retirement, or dismissal of any employee in the bargaining unit, he/she shall receive a sum equal to the number of days of annual leave remaining to his/her credit, provided that any or all amounts may be applied to offset any amounts owed the state by the employee.
