Mechanics Tool Allowance. 35.1 In order to offset the cost of tool replacement, Class "A" automotive mechanics and apprentice mechanics shall be provided with an annual allowance of eight hundred dollars ($800.00). Such allowance shall be paid on or about December 1st of each year, based upon sixty-six dollars and sixty-six cents ($66.66) per month.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. Mechanics are required to supply their own tools and shall be given $300.00 a year for tool replacement and/or purchase. The tool allowance will be paid annually in July. Mechanics will receive the tool allowance at the time of hire and annually thereafter. Mechanics who receive their initial allowance between July and December will be eligible for the allowance again the following July. Mechanics who receive their initial allowance between January and June will not be eligible to receive a subsequent allowance until the following July. City property insurance will insure equipment shop employee's tools per guidelines established by the City with input from employees and the Association.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. The Company agrees to provide a tool allowance for worn or broken tools of six-hundred dollars ($600.00) per year for employees in the mechanic classification. Payment will be made on the first pay period in June each year on a separate cheque. The employee shall turn in such worn or broken tools for replacement. Replacement tools shall be of equal quality. Receipts are not required.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. Employees regularly assigned to the following positions shall be eligible for annual tool allowances to compensate for the wear and loss of their personal mechanic’s tools incurred in the performance of their job duties: Equipment Mechanic: $500 Equipment Mechanic II: $500 Facilities Maintenance Mechanic: $500 Building Maintainer: $250
Mechanics Tool Allowance. The employer will pay a mechanics tool allowance of $100.00 per month not to exceed $1,200.00 in any calendar year payable not later than the first pay period of each month.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. During each year of this Agreement, A, B and C mechanics will receive, on their anniversary of employment a tool allowance of up to $300 provided the mechanic shows proof of purchase.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. The mechanic's tool allowance shall be seven hundred dollars ($700.00) annually and the serviceperson's tool allowance shall be four hundred and fifty dollars ($450.00) annually.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. This confirms our agreement that the Employer will provide an annual allowance of up to Five Hundred Dollars ($500) for tools for employees in the classification of Mechanic within the bargaining unit. The tool allowance shall be used to purchase new tools which are required to perform new functions or to replace existing, worn out tools. Worn out or damaged tools must be turned in for replacement. Purchases of new tools must receive prior approval from the Director of Public Works.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. The City of San Xxxxxx agrees to pay the Mechanic an annual tool replacement allowance of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) annually. The allowance is paid on a bi-weekly basis on the regular payroll. In addition, the City will provide property liability insurance for the tools the Mechanic keeps on site for City use.
Mechanics Tool Allowance. In any case where a Trades 2 Mechanic is required by the City to provide their own mechanics’ hand tools to perform their work for the City, such employee shall be paid a flat Tool Allowance in the amount of forty dollars ($40.00) biweekly.
