Mental Health Awareness. The Employer agrees to participate in the promotion of Mental Health Awareness of Employees in the workplace. The Employer agrees to participate in cost sharing of the CMHA “Safe and Sound” seminar to the maximum expenditure of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1500.00) once in the term of the Agreement

Mental Health Awareness i. Home Plate Rotational Half Inning
1. Contractor to display County Artwork on one (1) thirty-two (32”) inch tall and one hundred forty-three (143”) inch wide panels behind home plate during one half (1/2) inning during each Angels regular season home games played at Angel Stadium. Display is subject to blackout during Major League Baseball (MLB) national and regional telecasts and in accordance with MLB rules and regulations. Each sign will be visible at a minimum of seventy-four (74) regular season games played at Angel Stadium. Contractor is responsible for the cost to print and install up to three (3) versions of the signs.
ii. Outfield Wall Sign
1. Contractor to display County Artwork on the Outfield Wall in right field at Angel Stadium. Signage will consist of a sign that will be seven (7’) feet tall and twenty-four (24’) feet wide. Artwork must be approved by Contractor and MLB. Contractor is responsible for the cost to print and install up to three (3) versions of the signs during the regular season.
iii. LED 360 package
1. One (1) half inning of static exposure on the following LED Rotational Signage positions during each Angels regular season home game:
a. Angel Vision Segment: 49.2’ tall x 30’ wide
b. Main Scoreboard Segment: 49’ tall x 42.25’ wide
c. Tunnel A: 16.8’ tall x 57.6’ wide d. Two (2) Fascias: 3.6’ tall x 483.4’ wide
iv. Big A LED DocuSign Envelope ID: 9BFDBCEF-78DE-4739-A487-4D92185DE096
1. Contractor to display County Artwork on the LED message board located on the side of The Big A facing California Route 57 South.
2. Artwork will appear one (1) time on the LED screen for five (5) seconds during a three (3) minute rotation for eighteen (18) hours each day for the full Contract Year.
v. “Smile/Dance Cam”
1. Contractor to display County Artwork during the “Smile Cam” and “Dance Cam” features shown during in-game inning breaks.
Mental Health Awareness. Members are strongly urged to be aware of the considerations of proper mental health attitude and stress as it relates to proper physical and mental condition. To this end all Members will be given the opportunity to participate in voluntary annual stress management counseling to be developed by the City to assist all Members in preserving proper mental and physical health.
Mental Health Awareness. SUICIDE PREVENTION
a) The parties acknowledge that:
(i) suicide prevention of employees in the construction industry is an important issue;
(ii) Construction workers are more than twice as likely to suicide than other people in Australia.
(iii) Construction workers are six times more likely to die by suicide than through a workplace accident;
(iv) Apprentices in construction are two and a half times more likely to suicide than other young men their age;
(v) Mental health on construction sites is now accepted as an industry safety concern;
(vi) Employees can find it difficult to discuss feelings and emotions with colleagues at work, especially in the construction industry.
(vii) Accordingly, to try and reduce the chance of suicide by an employee, the Company agrees to provide mental health awareness training to all employees covered by this agreement annually, to recognise potentially suicidal behaviour and to give them the simple skills needed to intervene and to keep that employee safe until they can gain professional help. Such training is to be conducted by “Mates in Construction” or another similar program, during normal working hours.
(viii) Training will be undertaken within twelve months of the commencement of this Agreement for each Employee who has not already participated in the training and as soon as practicable for an Employee engaged after the commencement of this Agreement, not more than twelve (12) months after the Employee is first engaged in work covered by this Agreement.
(ix) Employees will be paid their normal rate while attending this training.

1. Shift Trades/Give Aways must be completed on the form supplied, legible and in full.
2. Shift Trades will be accepted up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the start of the shift. -Urgent exceptions may be approved on a case-by-case basis by CPMs.
3. Both parties must sign the shift trade form.
4. Both parties must ensure that the shift trade has been approved by an CPM.
5. Employees who give their shift away will NOT be eligible for overtime that day.
6. Shift Trades and Give Aways are paid at straight time and do not count towards maximum hours per day or forty (40) hours a week.
7. Overtime is only paid out on a shift trade or give away when you are requested to stay for additional hours by the Employer and the hours exceed the normal length of the shift you accepted to work.
8. Shift trades cannot be combined with other trades, i.e. no three-way or more trades – unless otherwise approved by managers..
9. An employee may not combine shift trades with their regular schedule if the combination exceeds more than seven (7) consecutive days without a day off.
10. Shift trades are intended to help employees have flexibility to deal with short-term schedule demands Any employee will be allowed to Give Away a maximum of thirty percent (30%) of their scheduled shifts in any eight (8) week period. One time during every calendar year, this amount will be increased to fifty percent (50%) of their scheduled shifts during an eight (8) week period. Any employee will be allowed to trade or exchange a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of their scheduled shifts in any eight (8) week period. Upon management’s approval exceptions can be made beyond the fifty percent (50%), such requests won’t be reasonable denied.
11. Failure to comply with the proper shift trade procedures may result in a loss of shift trade privileges for the employee concerned. SIGNED THIS 15 DAY OF June 2023
