New Resident Orientation. Upon advance request of no less than thirty (30) calendar days, or within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the union is provided the orientation schedule, whichever is later, up to three (3) union members shall be granted release time to attend the GME new resident orientation in accordance with Article 6.

New Resident Orientation. During orientations for new Residents, the union shall be granted up to sixty (60) minutes to give a presentation to residents. The union shall be provided the use of one information table at or near orientation. The union must be provided with a schedule of annual, general orientations at least two weeks in advance. During new employee orientation, the union may provide the following materials including but not limited to a copy of the collective bargaining agreement, union membership card, a list of chapter leaders with contact information, as well as any other informational materials related to the union.
New Resident Orientation. Union representatives shall be given access to new unit employees at the Graduate Medical Education (GME) New Resident Orientation (NRO) meetings described herein. Management shall not participate in the portion of the orientation meeting between the union representative and the new bargaining Unit employee(s). The Union’s portion of the New Resident Orientation shall be a regular part of the agenda and not be scheduled during breaks, meal periods or at the end of the meeting. The Employer will make a good faith effort to not schedule the Union’s presentation as the last NRO agenda topic. No later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the first scheduled NRO session, the University shall furnish to the union: (a) the names of those bargaining unit employees scheduled to attend the NRO meeting; (b) the schedule of NRO meetings conducted by GME and (c) the location of the NROs. Such notice shall be the basis for a sign-in sheet if said meetings are held in person, a copy of which shall be sent to the union within ten (10) days after the completion of the NROs. If said meetings are held virtually, the available information about attendees will be sent to the Union. New Resident Orientation. All adult household members are required to attend a New Resident Orientation session within the first 30 days of residency. Failure to attend the Orientation may be grounds for termination of the Lease. The purpose of the Orientation will be to familiarize all new Residents with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures pertinent to successful occupancy in PHA’s programs. The Lease, House Rules, Maintenance Policies, Housekeeping, Community Service requirement and Earned Income Disallowance will be among the topics reviewed at Orientation. Existing Residents may be required to attend Orientation, as directed by PHA, as a condition of continued occupancy if lease violations have occurred.

Foremen must obtain certification in either the CODC Better SuperVision course or the UA Foremen course (including completion of the classroom component, Leadership for Safety Excellence and the on-the-job course field evaluation report). This course is to be completed within the first year of being promoted to the xxxxxxx position. Employees shall not be on the payroll or paid while receiving this training. The Employer will not be required to pay for either course. Employees shall not be on the payroll or paid while receiving PART 1 & 2 training. All other costs for registration, certification or any other costs related to the training and certification in the CODC Interactive Rights and Responsibilities course, the XXXX course or equivalent shall be paid for by the Union or by the Educational Trust Fund. The Employer or Owner shall provide to each Employee before commencing work with PART 3 - Employer or Owner Project Specific Training. Each Employee shall be on the payroll and paid while receiving PART 3 training. The CODC Harassment Policy and Procedures, including the provisions regarding General Harassment and as amended from time to time shall be the minimum standard of this agreement.

  • New Hire Orientation The Union’s Business Representative or designee shall be given the opportunity to make a membership presentation at the employer’s regularly scheduled new employee orientation sessions.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.
