Night rate. An employee whose normal hours of duty fall between 2000 hours and 0700 hours will be paid at time one quarter of the normal hourly rate of pay (T0.25) in addition to normal salary for all hours which so fall provided that:
(i) The rate is to be calculated on the ordinary time hourly rate;
(ii) The minimum payment under this provision shall not be less than payment for two hours at T 0.25 of the normal hourly rate even if the part of a shift which falls between the hours of 2000 hours and 0600 hours is less than two hours worked.
Night rate. An employee whose normal hours of duty fall between 2000 hours and 0600 hours will be paid at time one quarter of the normal hourly rate of pay (T0.25) in addition to normal salary for all hours which so fall provided that:
(i) The rate is to be calculated on the ordinary time hourly rate.
(ii) The minimum payment under this provision shall not be less than payment for two hours at T 0.25 of the normal hourly rate even if the part of a shift which falls between the hours of 2000 hours and 0600 hours is less than two hours worked.
(iii) Those employers currently paying in excess of this rate shall continue to do so and are listed in Schedule B.
Night rate. 7.6.1 An employee will be paid at T1/4 times the normal hourly rate in addition to the basic salary for all hours worked between 2000 hours and 0600 hours midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday.
7.6.2 Night rate is not payable when overtime or penal time is being worked.
Night rate a) Subject to the provisions of b) below, full time and part time employees working at night, who receive no other special compensation specifically for this work, are to be paid a penal rate of T0.25 additional to salary for all ordinary hours of work between the hours of 8pm to 6am (including weekends). Penal rates will be additional to night rate but will be calculated on the ordinary time hourly rate.
b) The minimum payment for night rate shall be two hours even if the part of a shift which falls between the hours of 8pm and 6am is less than two hours.
Night rate. (a) An employee whose normal hours of duty fall between 8pm and 6am will be paid at time ¼ rate in addition to normal salary for all hours which so fall, provided that the minimum payment under this provision shall not be less than payment for two hours at time ¼ rate even if the part of a shift which falls between the hours of 8pm and 6am is less than two hours; Night rate is not to be paid for the same hours as either overtime or penal rates.
Night rate. 5.5.9.1. Night rate applies to ordinary hours of duty (other than overtime) that fall between 7.00pm and 6.00am) from midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday and shall be paid at quarter time (T0.25) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay.
Night rate. An employee who is rostered to work night shift (defined as where the substantial number of hours falls between 2000 and 0700 the following day) whose normal hours of duty fall between 2000 hours and 0700 hours will be paid at time one quarter half of the normal hourly rate of pay (T0.5) An employee whose normal hours of duty fall between 2000 hours and 0700 hours will be paid at time one quarter of the normal hourly rate of pay (T0.25) in addition to normal salary for all hours which so fall provided that:
(i) The rate is to be calculated on the ordinary time hourly rate;
(ii) The minimum payment under this provision shall not be less than payment for two hours at T 0.25 of the normal hourly rate even if the part of a shift which falls between the hours of 2000 hours and 07600 hours is less than two hours worked.
Night rate. (i) Rostered ordinary hours of work between 2100 and 0700 the next day shall be paid at one and one quarter (1¼) times employees’ ordinary time rates of pay for each hour worked. For the avoidance of doubt, overtime rates of pay shall not be paid on or in addition to night rates of pay.
(ii) For the avoidance of doubt, the night rate of pay shall not be paid in addition to the Saturday and Sunday rates of pay specified in 11.3 (i) and (ii) below.
Night rate. An employee whose normal hours of duty fall between 2000 hours and 0600 hours will be paid at a rate of pay in addition to normal salary for all hours which so fall at a rate that is to be calculated on the ordinary time hourly rate as provided for in the table below: All employees except Wellington SCL 2000 hours to 0600 hours T 0.5 Wellington SCL employees 2000 hours to 2200 hours T 0.25 Wellington SCL employees 2200 hours to 0600 hours T 0.5 6.5.2 Night rate is not to be paid when overtime is being worked or a penal rate/duty allowance is payable.
Night rate. Employees working the PM and Night Shift between the hours of 8pm and 6am (from midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday) shall be paid at one quarter (T.25) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay for hours worked within this time period. Effective from 1 September 2022 employees working between the hours of 8pm and the completion of a night duty shall be paid at time and one quarter (T.25) in addition o the ordinary hourly rate of pay for the hours worked within this time period.
