NO STRIKE AND NO LOCK-OUT. 5.01 The Union agrees there shall be no strike and the Council agrees there shall be no lock-out, "strike" and "lock-out" being as defined in the Colleges Collective Bargaining Act, 2008, as amended. Article 6 MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS
NO STRIKE AND NO LOCK-OUT. Section 2.1 - No Strike/Job Action During the term of this Agreement and any written mutual agreement for the specific extension thereof, no employee covered by this Agreement nor the Union nor any person acting on behalf of the Union shall engage in a strike, mass sick call, concerted slow down, any other concerted refusal to render full and complete services to the Board or any other concerted activity designed to disrupt the operation of the District. The Union shall not impose any duty or obligation upon any employee to conduct, assist, or participate in the aforementioned activities.
NO STRIKE AND NO LOCK-OUT. Section 1. During the term of this Contract or any extension thereof, the Association, its agents, representatives and members shall not directly or indirectly call, sanction, encourage, finance and/or assist in any way nor shall any employee instigate or participate directly or indirectly in any strike, slow-down, walk-out, call-in, sick-out, failure to report, work stoppage, mass resignation, picketing, or other interference with any operation or operations of the College or with any deliveries to or from the premises of the facilities operated by the College. The Association shall cooperate with the College throughout the term of this Contract and any extension thereof in continuing operations of the College in a normal manner, and shall actively discourage and endeavor to prevent or terminate any violation of this Section.
NO STRIKE AND NO LOCK-OUT. The union and the employees covered by this agreement recognize and agree that the rendering of services to the community cannot, under any circumstances or conditions, be withheld, interrupted or discontinued and that to do so would endanger the health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the city. Therefore, during the term of this agreement, neither the union nor its agents nor any employee for any reason will authorize, institute, aid, condone or engage in a slow-down, work stoppage, strike or any other interference with the work or statutory functions or obligations of the city. During the term of this agreement, neither the city nor its agents, for any reason, shall authorize, institute, aid or promote any lock-out of employees covered by this agreement.

NO STRIKE AND NO LOCK-OUT. Section A. The Union, its officers, agents, members, and the bargaining unit employees covered by this Agreement all agree that they will not commit, condone, aid, or abet any act that interferes with the College’s operations or the performance of the College’s official business, including, but not limited to strike, sit-down, slow down, sympathy strike, picketing, employee demonstrations, stoppage of work, or boycott. Such groups and persons further agree that they will, individually and collectively, take all affirmative action within their power to prevent and stop any act that occurs in disregard of this commitment.

The Union agrees there shall be no strike and the Council of Regents agrees there shall be no lock-out, "strike" and "lock-out" being as defined in The Colleges Collective Bargaining Act, Article MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS It is the exclusive function of the Colleges to: maintain order, discipline and efficiency; hire, discharge, transfer, classify, assign, appoint, promote, demote, lay off, recall and suspend or otherwise discipline employees subject to the right to lodge a grievance in the manner and to the extent provided in this Agreement; manage the College and, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, the right to plan, direct and control operations, facilities, courses, systems and procedures, direct its personnel, determine complement, organization, methods and the number, location and classification of personnel required from time to time, the number and location of campuses and facilities, services to be performed, the scheduling of assignments and extension, limitation, curtailment, or cessation of operations and all other rights and responsibilities not specifically modified elsewhere in this Agreement. The Colleges agree that these functions will be exercised in a manner consistent with the provisions of this Agreement. Article
NO STRIKE AND NO LOCK-OUT. 1. During the term of this Agreement, the Board shall not engage in any lockouts that violate R.C. Chapter 4117.
