No Strike Commitment. Neither the Union nor any bargaining unit employee with call, initiate, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage, or ratify any work stoppage, slow down, or the concerted interference with the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the Sheriff during the term of this Agreement. No bargaining unit employee shall refuse to cross any picket line, by whomever established such line.
No Strike Commitment. Neither the Council nor any bargaining unit member will call, initiate, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage, or ratify any work stoppage, slow down, or the concerted interference with the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the Employer during the term of this Agreement. Neither the Council nor any bargaining unit member shall refuse to cross any picket line, by whoever established.
No Strike Commitment. 1. From the effective date of the Agreement through thirty (30) days following the date, if any, that the parties are released from mediation by the National Mediation Board in connection with negotiations for a successor Agreement (the “Release Date”), the Union, including its directors, officers, representatives and agents, will not engage in, promote, or cause any strike or work stoppage at the Company, including but not limited to sympathy strikes or recognition of picket lines at the Company, and the Union will not otherwise support picket lines established at the Company, or cause any other organized job action and the Company will not lock out any employee covered by this Agreement.
2. The commitment stated in paragraph I(1) above shall be inapplicable as of the Release Date, without regard to whether the parties are then engaged in collective bargaining under the Railway Labor Act. The Company waives any claim that the commitment stated in paragraph I(1) above remains applicable on or after the Release Date pursuant to the Railway Labor Act’s status quo provisions or otherwise.
3. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement, and it shall not be cause for discharge, permanent replacement or any other disciplinary action if any employee covered by this Agreement:
a. Refuses to perform work or services on aircraft of another carrier where the Company, pursuant to an agreement or arrangement with that carrier, is performing that carrier’s maintenance during a lawful strike by that carrier’s mechanics (i.e., performing “struck work”), provided that it shall not be considered to be performing struck work for the Company to expand the Company’s maintenance activities or to continue to perform maintenance on its own aircraft, including aircraft on which other carriers performed contract maintenance prior to the strike, or
b. Refuses to cross or chooses to honor the lawful picket lines of fellow technicians employed by any Affiliate of the Company, or
c. Refuses to undergo training or perform maintenance work or services on the property of another carrier during a lawful strike by that carrier’s mechanics; or
d. Honors a lawful picket line of the Company’s domestic employees on or in front of the Company’s domestic premises.
No Strike Commitment. Neither the Bargaining unit nor any officer, agents or employees will call, institute, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage, or ratify any strike, sympathy strike, no picketing, secondary boycotts, work stoppage, slow down, sit down or other concerted stoppage of work, or other concerted refusal to perform duties by any officer or officer group, or the concerted interference with, in whole or in part, the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the City, regardless of the reason for doing so. Neither the Bargaining unit nor any officer shall refuse to cross any picket line, by whomever established. Each employee who holds the position of officer of special trust and responsibility in maintaining and bringing about compliance with the provisions of this Article.
No Strike Commitment. Neither the SPOA nor any of its officers or agents may call, initiate, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage, or ratify any work stoppage, slow down, unauthorized absence, picketing of the Department over terms and conditions of this Agreement, “work to rule" action, or the concerted interference with the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the City during the term of this Agreement. Neither the SPOA nor any officer shall refuse to cross any picket line, by whomever established. This section does not apply to informational picketing, handbilling and other forms of protected speech designed to communicate with the public about issues of concern to the SPOA. Such communications shall not request any kind of work stoppage. The SPOA’s right to conduct informational picketing or handbilling as set forth herein shall be subject to the following conditions: 1) no picketing or handbilling on Department property, 2) no person shall represent himself as speaking as a member of or on behalf of the Police Department, 3) persons engaging in such activities shall be off-duty, and 4) persons engaging in such activities shall not be in police uniform.
No Strike Commitment. Neither the Union nor any of its employees, officers or agents or employees of the Village covered by this Agreement will instigate, promote, sponsor, engage in, or condone any strike, sympathy strike, slowdown, sit-down, concerted stoppage of work, concerted refusal to perform overtime, concerted, work to the rule situation, mass absenteeism, picketing, except picketing of a scheduled Board of Trustees meeting, or any other intentional interruption or disruption of the operations of the Village, regardless of the reason for so doing. Any or all employees who violate any of the provisions of this Article may be discharged or otherwise disciplined by the Village. Each employee who holds the position of officer or xxxxxxx of the Union occupies a position of special trust and responsibility in maintaining and bringing about compliance with the provisions of this Article. The failure to confer a penalty in any instance is not a waiver of such right in any other instance nor is it a precedent.
No Strike Commitment. During the term of this Agreement, the Union and its agents, representatives and officers, and all employees who are covered by this Agreement, as individuals and as a group, will not authorize, cause, assist, participate, acquiesce in, or encourage any strike, work stoppage, sick- out, slowdown, picketing, or any similar disruption or restriction of work on or in any of Employer's premises. Except in situations when there is a reasonable belief that the employee's physical health will be jeopardized, this specifically includes "sympathy" strikes and the observance of picket lines, signs, or appeals from any labor organization engaged in any such prohibited activities. These obligations will not be affected or limited by the subject matter of the dispute or by whether it is subject to the grievance provisions of this Agreement.

Neither Unit 156-Captains nor any Captain will call, institute, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage or ratify any strike, work stoppage or other concerted refusal to perform duties by any Captain or Captain group, or the concerted interference with, in whole or in part, the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the Employer. Neither Unit 156- Captains nor any Captain shall refuse to cross any picket line by whoever established.
