Notice of Operations. You must notify BLM immediately when you begin and end operations under this contract. If BLM has specified a time frame for notification, you must comply with that time frame.

Programme for Documentation The Contractor shall supply the following documentation for acceptance within the following periods from the Contract award date. Any requested drawings shall have two copies supplied and be size A1 or smaller. The drawing format issued by the Contractor shall be fully compatible with the latest AutoCAD format. The Contractor shall provide the Supervisor within one week of the Contract Award Date: • Programme of Works The Contractor shall provide the Supervisor within three weeks of the Contract Award Date: • Detailed Functional Design Specification (FDS), drawings, calculations and relevant schedules; • Site layout and proposed lifting plan for MCC delivery to site; • Method statement and risk assessment detailing MCC changeover/refit proposals to ensure maximum station availability; The Supervisor shall provide the Contractor within four weeks of the Contract Award Date: • Comments on submitted design documentation (Including FDS); The Contractor shall provide the Supervisor at least two weeks before any site work commences; • Method statement and risk assessment for site work; • Lifting plans; • Site layout and arrangements during construction; Programme of Site Works No site work shall be carried out without the prior consent of the Flood Defence Operations Team (via the Supervisor). The programme of site work shall be subject to weather conditions and may be changed by the Employer at only 24 hours notice to the Contractor. The Contractor shall allow for this in the tender price and program. Where temporary ‘over pumping’ is required due to Flood Defence operational restrictions, this shall be provided by the Employer. All temporary cabling shall comply with the requirements of BS EN 7671 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations with current amendments.
