Notification Service. ‌ This service implements notifying capabilities - notifications. Notifications could represent different physical entities, like notifications about failure of the device (system operator receives information about the exact location and type of alarm), alarm about abnormal behaviour of observed phenomena (temperature), and notification about beginning of the meeting. When there is abnormal behaviour of observed phenomena (temperature), the Safety Server activates IPv6-enabled as well as legacy alarms (generates virtual entity) in the vicinity of the meeting room. It also raises an alert in a Safety and Management Tool. The Safety and Management Tool contacts system operators through their mobile phones and the associated Safety and Maintenance App and informs them about the exact location and type of alarm. The Meeting Reservation Tool generates a virtual entity such as the meeting is going to start in the next 15 minutes, and the local Control and Monitoring System (CMS) of the Smart meeting room is contacted in order to activate HVAC devices ensuring a conditioned environment at the start of the meeting.
