Outings. An employee may voluntarily waive the daily overtime compensation associated with an outing by his/her work schedule to maintain a forty (40) hour work week. However, employees who exceed forty (40) hours work in a week shall be compensated at the overtime rate for all hours in excess of forty (40). If staff are required to provide an outing, staff shall be compensated at the overtime rate for hours worked in excess of their normal work shift or forty (40) hours in a work week. The staff involved in the planning shall have first right to work the outing. The prearranged voluntary overtime list shall be used secondarily.
Outings. Are their parameters for distance? Do you need to be notified before the outing? • Play dates: Do you need to meet the family and / or child? Can the play date be at your home? At someone else’s home? When, how frequent, and how long in duration?
Outings. Do you give permission for your child to be taken on local walks / travel by mini bus in the local area to other schools within the Bourne Education Trust during the school year? You will always be notified in advance that they are leaving the school premises. Children will be supervised at all times.
Outings. Visitors are encouraged to take residents out although they must advise the ‘Person in charge’ that they intend to do so. The home accepts no responsibility for the resident during such outings. Outings organised by the home are chargeable and normally these are subsidised by the ‘Residents Fund’ to whom the payment should be made.

Outings. I/We agree that the Nursery School may take my child for outings and visits outside the registered setting (e.g., walks to the library, park, local shops, and organised Nursery School trips).
