Overtime - An employer may require any employee to work reasonable overtime at overtime rates and the employee shall work overtime as required. Employees can work a maximum of 8 hours overtime per week. Additional hours may be worked where agreement is reached between the parties, and, where applicable, Consultative Committee. The assignment of overtime by an employer to an employee is to be based on specific work requirements and the practice of “one in, all in” overtime shall not apply. Overtime will be paid at double time for all over time hours worked. Discussions will occur from time to time with the workforce, in respect to the level of overtime required, having regard to both company workloads and general industry conditions.

Overtime - An employee shall be compensated for overtime work as follows:
Overtime - An employee on a 5-8 work schedule will be compensated at the rate of one 2 and one-half (1-1/2) times their base hourly rate of pay (contractual daily overtime rate) for all 3 compensated hours in excess of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per FLSA workweek, or on a 4 holiday recognized in this Agreement (in addition to the holiday pay).

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Bank All overtime remaining in an employee’s overtime bank at the end of the calendar year following that in which it was earned shall be paid out by the University.

Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAYS 5.1 An Employer may require employees to perform work in excess of their regularly assigned hours. All time worked by an employee before and after his regular shift on Monday to Friday inclusive, except as provided in Article 4 and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of double time. Double time shall continue for all hours worked until the employee has had eight (8) consecutive hours off or longer if mutually agreed to by the employer and the employee.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate.

  • Overtime Voluntary The Parties are agreed that all overtime will be voluntary.

  • Overtime Lieu Time Where an employee has worked an accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where the applicable rate I time and one-half, then time off shall be at one and one-half times. Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two pay periods of the occurrence of the overtime at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.
