Pandemic Preparedness. Contractor shall comply with all state, federal, and local laws, rules, regulations, and orders regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Contractor will follow all applicable state, federal, and local guidance and recommendations related to the COVID-19 pandemic including but not limited to guidance and recommendations related to social distancing, hygiene, sanitation of workspaces, provision of proper personal protective equipment to staff, proper screening methods and education of staff issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and Milwaukee Health Department.
Pandemic Preparedness. Provider shall maintain a written plan that illustrates how the Provider shall perform up to contractual standards in the event of a pandemic. The state may require a copy of the plan at any time prior or post award of a contract. At a minimum, the pandemic performance plan shall include: a) Key succession and performance planning if there is a sudden significant decrease in Provider's work force; b) Alternative methods to ensure there are products in the supply chain; c) An up to date list of Provider contacts and organizational chart. In the event of a pandemic, as declared by the Governor of Arizona, U.S. Government or the World Health Organization, which makes performance of any term under this Agreement or the State Contract impossible or impracticable, the State shall have the following rights: After the official declaration of a pandemic, the State may temporarily void the contract(s) in whole or specific sections if the contractor cannot perform to the standards agreed upon in the initial terms. The State shall not incur any liability if a pandemic is declared and emergency procurements are authorized by the director as per § 41-2537 of the Arizona Procurement Code. Once the pandemic is officially declared over and/or the contractor can demonstrate the ability to perform, the State, at its sole discretion, may reinstate the temporarily voided contract(s). The State, at any time, may request to see a copy of the written plan from Company or Provider. Company or Provider shall produce the written plan within seventy-two (72) hours of the request.

26.2 If determined applicable by the County, Contractor should have a written Pandemic Preparedness Plan that complies with all applicable laws, regulations, orders, and agency guidelines regarding COVID-19 and, at a minimum, meets the requirements in the Milwaukee County COVID-19 Response Preparedness Plan Checklist, attached to this Contract as Exhibit 1.

Every Contractor and parties furnishing services or products to Milwaukee County or any of its subsidiaries must provide County with evidence of the following minimum insurance requirements. In no way do these minimum requirements limit the liability assumed elsewhere in the contract. Modifications to the types of coverage, limits and/or other terms should not be made without the approval of the County’s Risk Manager.
Pandemic Preparedness. West shall prepare a documented pandemic plan and will review said plan with BD. West’s pandemic plan shall address issues relating to West’s personnel, operations (including sub-suppliers), and Product manufacturing in case a pandemic arises.

The Executive Council and Board of Control recognizes that the Center will play an essential role along with the local health department and emergency management agencies in protecting the public’s health and safety if an influenza pandemic occurs. A pandemic influenza is a worldwide outbreak of a virus for which there is little or no natural immunity and no vaccine; it spreads quickly to people who have not been previously exposed to the new virus. To prepare the School Center community for a pandemic, the Director or designee shall: (1) learn and understand the roles that the federal, State, and local government would play in an epidemic; (2) form a pandemic planning team consisting of appropriate Center personnel and community members to identify priorities and oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive pandemic influenza school action plan; and (3) build awareness of the final plan among staff, students, and community.
