Parking and Travel. Section 1. Each employee shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary parking fees paid by him/her for use of his/her automobile in the course of his/her employment. Requests for reimbursement shall be submitted on a monthly basis. Section 2. Mileage allowance based on the following plan shall be allowed: A. All employees required to drive their own motor vehicle in the course of their employment with the County shall be paid pursuant to the IRS rate. Mileage accumulations shall be figured on a monthly basis. Any changes in the standard IRS mileage reimbursement rate, either upward or downward, shall be effective prospectively only from and after the first full calendar month after the IRS publicizes such a change in writing. B. Mileage shall always be figured on the basis of the shortest distance between the point of departure and the destination. C. There shall be a short explanation given on all claims made to the Board of Commissioners for reimbursement of expenses for all trips. D. The place of employment shall be the Xxxxxx County Jail in Xxxxx, but no employee shall be paid mileage for going to and/or returning from work.

Parking and Travel. The Hospital will continue its policy of paid parking and will advise the Union of any changes to the rates prior to implementation. Employees reporting to and departing from work at the Hospital between the hours of 2300 and 0700 shall, if they so request, be provided with a security escort to and from their car in the Hospital’s parking lot. Prior to any changes in these rates to reflect changes in costs of providing parking services, the proposed changes will be discussed at the Association-Hospital Committee. In the event the Hospital changes the rates, the Association has the right to grieve.

Parking and Travel. 1. In the procurement of motor vehicles for patrol purposes, the Employer shall use that equipment necessary for the Officers to perform their duties and responsibilities related to the safety of the Officer. 2. When the employee shall find the equipment furnished by the Employer as unsafe for use in the performance of his/her assigned duties, the employee shall be required to immediately report the condition to his immediate supervisor, and, if the condition is not satisfactorily resolved in a reasonable period of time, the employee may have recourse to the grievance procedure as provided herein.

  • Fares and Travel Allowance All Employees shall be entitled to receive the fares and travel allowance as follows:

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Job Descriptions The Employer agrees to supply each employee with a copy of her current job description. Upon request, the Union and the Bargaining Unit Chair shall be provided copies of all job descriptions in the bargaining unit.
