Payment of Meal Allowance. 30.1 Except as provided below, the payment of overtime meal allowance contained in any Schedule to this Agreement, shall be made through the payroll system. This payment will be recorded as a non-taxable allowance.
Payment of Meal Allowance. Any employee required to work through four (4) or more hours in excess of his regular shift without advance notice will be given a meal allowance of eight dollars ($8.00).
Payment of Meal Allowance. An employee required to work overtime for more than one and a half hours without being notified on the previous day or earlier that he will be so required to work shall either be supplied with a meal by the employer or paid the meal allowance prescribed by Schedule 1, for the first meal and each subsequent meal, at 4 hour intervals, i.e. after 1.5 hours, 5.5 hours and 9.5 hours, but such payment need not be made to employees living in the same locality as the Plant who can reasonably return home for meals. Unless the employer advises an employee on the previous day or earlier that the amount of overtime to be worked will necessitate the taking of a second or subsequent meal (as the case may be) the employer shall provide such second or subsequent meals or make payment in lieu thereof as prescribed above. If an employee pursuant to notice has provided a meal or meals and is not required to work overtime or is required to work less than the amount advised he or she shall be paid as above for meals which he or she had provided but which are no longer required. For the purposes of this clause, the "previous day" shall mean the previous calendar day not the previous rostered shift, provided that a minimum of eight hours notice is given before the commencement of such overtime.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Housing Allowance During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to receive a Cayman Islands housing allowance of US $6,000 per month. Executive will be responsible for any taxes due on such allowance.
