Professional Development –Tuition Reimbursement. A. Employees may be reimbursed up to $2,600 per fiscal year for professional development activities and other approved costs. In order for an item to qualify for reimbursement, the Employee must follow the preapproval process prior to purchase. Professional development may include activities and related expenses associated with conferences and workshops, non-Elgin Community College tuition, dues for approved professional organizations, books, and professional publications and other activities and materials that are directly related to the performance of the engineer’s job. Certification related to the eligibility to work is not included in this section. Computer hardware and software may be purchased once every three (3) years with professional development.
Professional Development –Tuition Reimbursement. The District encourages members to continue to increase their education and expand their endorsements in order to better serve students. To demonstrate that desire, the District will provide tuition reimbursement and Professional Development funds to classified members. Within a cap limit not to exceed $1,250 per school year for combined reimbursement to all members, the District will reimburse members for approved courses. Professional Development –Tuition Reimbursement. The Principal is eligible to receive tuition reimbursement of up to $800 for courses taken in a related field at an accredited college or university of his/her choice, approved in advance by the Superintendent. Tuition reimbursements will be paid for courses taken in the fiscal year in which applicable credit is earned and payment will be limited to one course per fiscal year, upon proof of successful completion of such course.
Professional Development –Tuition Reimbursement. 9.8.1 For each year during the term of this Agreement, the Board agrees to provide $65,000 for teachers to use for professional development and tuition reimbursement purposes. Any funds which remain unused at the end of the year may accumulate for future use.

  • Education Reimbursement The County will provide education reimbursement for education costs incurred by regular employees who apply for such reimbursement in accordance with the policies and procedures governing the education reimbursement program.
