Professional Teaching Personnel. b. At the end of each school year, a questionnaire developed by the Joint Advisory Committee will be distributed by the District to every teacher in order to obtain their viewpoints and suggestions regarding educational programs and administrative practices and policies. The purpose of the reports is to give the District a means of understanding the concerns of the teachers and to provide for the continual upgrading of all segments of the educational program. The reports shall be for informational purposes only and shall not be placed in the personnel file of any employee. The Joint Advisory Committee shall prepare summaries of the reports to present to the School Board.
c. Instructional discretion is defined as the discretion to teach about controversial issues which have economic, political, scientific, or social significance within the adopted curriculum standards and guidelines of the School District. Subject to the discretionary review and approval by the District, teachers shall have the discretion to use
