RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHERS. Counselors & Coordinators A. Positive School Culture and Accountability: Teachers, Counselors and Coordinators are expected to contribute to the culture of the school by: • Attending all professional development and faculty meetings, scheduled according to their role. Teachers are exempt from participating in Professional Development on the Tuesdays when Midterm or Final grades are due that same week. • Being a member of at least one school committee (i.e. positive behavior, social-cultural, professional development, data & intervention, etc.) • Support the extra-curricular/athletic activities of students by doing one of the following: • attending an athletic event • chaperoning a school field trip. • sponsoring a student club meeting during the school day • Supporting student and parental involvement by: • chaperoning at least one after-school activity per year (i.e. dance supervision, concession stands, etc.) • attending at least one community-building/parent activity per year (family night, AVID recognition ceremony, Senior Award Night, interdisciplinary project showcase, etc.). • holding a parent conference before or after school. • Participating in IEP, SSPT, intervention and parent conference meetings as needed to support student achievement. • Monitoring the hallways during passing periods on a regular basis. • It is recommended that teachers, counselors & coordinators devote a minimum of one hour per week, after school, to meet with students or parents, as needed. Teachers, counselors & coordinators to provide specific dates and times of availability before September 1st of the new school year.

Instruction: Teachers are expected to • Submit emergency lesson plans to the office by the second week of the academic semester, and update after each use. • Submit course syllabi which include grading policy to school principal before the first day of instruction. The course syllabi should also be uploaded to Schoology for parent and student access. • When absent, teachers should follow Smart Finder protocols to obtain a substitute, and provide lesson plans for the duration of the absence. If planning to be absent, notify the Admin office by email or phone (000)000-0000 no later than 7:00am. • Imbed the theme of social justice in the curriculum of each course at least once a semester. • Use student data for intervention, regrouping, and differentiating instruction. • Observe and practice five key AVID /WICOR Strategies. • Maintain a positive learning environment using Restorative Justice Practices. • Implement SSJ Advisory curriculum. Teachers not assigned an Advisory will serve as a team teacher based on the needs of the students. • It is recommended that teachers devote one hour a week to students outside of class for tutoring or detention. Extra Pay for tutoring hours is available if the following criterion is met: At least 10 students attend a weekly 1 hour tutoring session. Teachers will be eligible for the hourly rate with proper documentation (sign-in sheet and learning log). B. Discipline: Teachers are expected to • Implement a common school wide discipline plan (behavior contract will be provided during Buy Back Days). • Consistently document misbehavior or discipline issues using the MSIS online referral. • Participate in after school detention on a rotating basis (half an hour of tutoring can be exchanged for 30 minutes of detention). Only if staff agrees during Buyback days with a vote of 50 plus 1. • Enforcement of Uniform and Tardy Polices will require same day lunch detention. C. SPED Teachers • Will meet once a week during Advisory to discuss: progress monitoring, new students, etc.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten teachers shall follow the work schedule for grades 1 through 3. 12.1.2 The District shall compensate any unit member, at that employee’s hourly rate of pay, who is required to participate in a student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a 504 meeting, or a student disciplinary matter either before or after the contracted workday as that term is defined at Section 12.1.1

Additional staff participants will be required to pay their own registration and fees related with no compensation. 12.1.3 Teachers shall be professional in their conduct at all times. 12.1.4 Policies and regulations associated with a unit member’s professional duties can be found at this link. [xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/district/marktwain/] 12.1.5 Teachers are to keep such records and tender such reports as are required by law or requested by the administration (i.e. attendance, substitute teacher plans, report cards, progress reports, IEP/504 documents) 12.1.6 Teachers shall not discuss students except with school personnel concerned, or with such persons as may be authorized to seek information by the parents. 12.1.7 Teachers must file credentials and self-monitor renewals with the Calaveras County Office of Education and the Xxxx Xxxxx School District Office. 12.1.8 Teachers are required to see that all students under their supervision are supervised at all times. 12.1.9 A faculty meeting will be held on the first day teachers convene for the year at which time the schedule for regular faculty meetings for that year shall be reviewed and calendared. Teachers are required to attend all monthly faculty meetings, except when prior arrangements have been authorized by the administrator. An additional meeting may be scheduled by administration if unforeseen circumstances arise with agreement of Chapter President.

Recordings will be shared with authorities in case of an legal requirement arise. • Tutor should ensure that he/ she respects the child protection law and the privacy of the student to the maximum and Xxxxxxx FZC will not be accountable for any misuse or misconduct of the platform related to the tutor’s behavior.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHERS. A. Teachers will be expected to be in school at times normally associated with their duties and responsibilities, such as classes, homerooms, meetings and conferences. Teachers leaving the building during the school day will sign out and sign in, in the book reserved for this purpose, which is located in the main office of each building. B. A schedule of potential professional building and grade level staff meetings will be given to all teachers at the beginning of each semester. Professional staff members are expected to attend. There shall be no more than two faculty/grade level meetings per month. Professional staff members unable to attend such meetings are responsible for their content and any practices or procedures which might result from discussions at such meetings. The building principal may call brief emergency meetings. Teachers are encouraged to attend other professional meetings which may be scheduled as needed. Regular professional staff meetings will take place after the 10th period in the high school and middle school whenever possible; other professional meetings will also take place after these times whenever possible. C. The school day shall include a duty-free lunch period during the regular student lunch period of at least one-half hour on days shortened by emergency. D. The RCSTA building or area representative shall have the right to schedule Association meetings before or after school. The RCSTA will not conduct official Association meetings prior to dismissal of their respective schools. No union representative will interrupt a teacher in a class to conduct union business. E. The building or area representative shall be provided at least ten (10) minutes additional time at all building faculty meetings to report on matters involving representation of the teachers by the Association.

The Local Exchange Company will request any toll billing exceptions via the Local Service Request (LSR) form used to order resold exchange lines, or the SPNP service request form used to order SPNP arrangements. B. Under normal operating conditions, BST shall include the billing number information in its LIDB upon completion of the service order establishing either the resold local exchange service or the SPNP arrangement, provided that BST shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance to the extent such delay or failure is caused by circumstances or conditions beyond BST’s reasonable control. BST will store in its LIDB an unlimited volume of the working telephone numbers associated with either the resold local exchange lines or the SPNP arrangements. For resold local exchange lines or for SPNP arrangements, BST will issue line-based calling cards only in the name of Local Exchange Company. BST will not issue line- based calling cards in the name of Local Exchange Company’s individual end users. In the event that Local Exchange Company wants to include calling card numbers assigned by the Local Exchange Company in the BST LIDB, a separate agreement is required. C. BST will provide responses to on-line, call-by-call queries to the stored information for the specific purposes listed in the next paragraph. D. BST is authorized to use the billing number information to perform the following functions for authorized users on an on-line basis: 1. Validate a 14 digit Calling Card number where the first 10 digits are a line number or special billing number assigned by BST, and where the last four digits (PIN) are a security code assigned by BST. 2. Determine whether the Local Exchange Company has identified the billing number as one which should not be billed for collect or third number calls, or both.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STATE 3.2.1 The State will identify a Project Manager for the Project. The Project Manager will be the sole point of contact between the Contractor and the State. The Project Manager will be the State’s representative authorized to communicate the State’s position and directions related to all contract work and to coordinate all change orders with the Commissioner of Buildings and General Services as deemed necessary. 3.2.2 If applicable, the State shall furnish all surveys describing the physical characteristics, legal limitations and utility locations for the site of the Project, and a legal description of the site. 3.2.3 Except as provided in Subparagraph 4.7.1, the State shall secure and pay for necessary approvals, easements, assessments and charges required for the construction, use or occupancy of permanent structures or for permanent changes in existing facilities. 3.2.4 Information or services under the State's control shall be furnished by the State with reasonable promptness to avoid delay in the orderly progress of the Work. 3.2.5 Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Contractor will be furnished, free of charge, all copies of Drawings and Specifications reasonably necessary for the execution of the Work. 3.2.6 The State shall forward instructions to the Contractor through the Architect. 3.2.7 The foregoing are in addition to any other duties and responsibilities of the State enumerated in the Contract Documents including those responsibilities described in Articles 6, 9 and 11 of this agreement. 3.2.8 The State may utilize a Clerk-of-the-Works to provide inspection and monitoring work on behalf of the State. If a Clerk-of-the-Works is utilized, it is the responsibility of the Architect and the Contractor to review and understand the Clerk’s duties, responsibilities and limitations of authority. Upon request, the State shall provide a copy of the Clerk-of-the-Works contract to Architect and Contractor.

  • Responsibilities of Contractor A. The Contractor shall perform all work on the described project as required by the Contract documents. The work to be performed includes the labor and services necessary to produce such replacement, and all materials, supplies, tools, transportation, equipment, and machinery required for replacement. B. This project bid includes all materials, labor and equipment to complete the reconstruction and resurfacing of streets as outlined in the Project Manual for WWREYN - XXXXXXXX SANITARY SEWER - PHASE 1 dated March 25th, 2021 as outlined in Attachment A.

The District shall examine the documents submitted by the Architect and shall render decisions so as to avoid unreasonable delay in the process of the Architect’s Services. 12.2. The District shall verbally or in writing advise Architect if the District becomes aware of any fault or defect in the Project, including any errors, omissions or inconsistencies in the Architect’s documents. Failure to provide such notice shall not relieve Architect of its responsibility therefore, if any. 12.3. Unless the District and Architect agree that a hazardous materials consultant shall be a Consultant of the Architect, the District shall furnish the services of a hazardous material consultant or other consultants when such services are requested in writing by Architect and deemed necessary by the District or are requested by the District. These services shall include: asbestos and lead paint survey; abatement documentation; and specifications related to said matters, which are to be incorporated into bid documents prepared by Architect. If the hazardous materials consultant is furnished by the District and is not a Consultant of the Architect, the specifications shall include a note to the effect that the hazardous materials consultant’s specifications are included in the Architect’s bid documents for the District’s convenience and have not been prepared or reviewed by the Architect. The note shall also direct questions about the hazardous materials consultant’s specifications related to asbestos and lead paint survey and/or abatement documentation to the preparer of the hazardous materials consultant’s specifications.
