PROMOTION LIST. Following the promotional testing process as set forth herein, a promotion list shall be promulgated and posted reflecting those eligible employees who have completed all tests of the promotion process. PROMOTION LIST. 1. There shall be a promotion list established from candidates participating in the promotional process. The list shall be numeric in order ranging from the highest to lowest aggregate score. The promotion list shall remain in effect for ninety (90) days from the date of the first promotion on the list.
2. A written reprimand shall cause a candidate's name to be removed from the promotion list.
3. The list will be used for selection for any declared opening for the rank tested within the ninety (90) day period.
4. A candidate's written test score must be a seventy (70%) percent or higher in order to be on the promotion list.
5. The candidate that is number one on the list will be offered the position tested for. That candidate can refuse to accept the position. In this incident, that candidate’s name will remain at the top of the list and the offer will be presented to the next candidate on the list.
PROMOTION LIST. Applications for examinations to establish standing on promotion lists shall be accepted for all persons who meet the minimum qualifications and other requirements for the class.
PROMOTION LIST. The promotional list shall remain in effect for 12 months.
PROMOTION LIST. A promotion list will be established the year before it comes into effect using the following formula:
a) The final percentage of the written examination, performance appraisal, promotional interview, and seniority added together will form the members' total mark.
b) The total marks will be listed in order of finish highest to lowest.
c) Should two or more marks be identical, seniority shall determine the order of finish within the promotion list.
(i. e.: the most senior member shall be placed ahead of the junior member).
PROMOTION LIST. Employer shall establish a promotion list and post the same and shall make appointments for any vacancy from said promotion list. The promotion list shall be maintained whether or not there is a vacancy. This shall not infringe upon the right of the Employer, by ordinance, to abolish or create positions. This provision, however, shall apply to any position added by Employer.
