Protection of Seniority. An employee who leaves the bargaining unit voluntarily (i.e. through promotion) will be granted accumulated seniority for the purpose of re-entry to the bargaining unit provided that such re-entry occurs within a period of one year of the date of leaving the bargaining unit and the employee continues to remit Union dues. Such seniority may be used for;
