Purpose/Objective. All full-time employees eligible for City health benefits are eligible for Paid Parental Leave, for up to 30 consecutive days (160 hours) in the twelve-month period following the birth of a child, adoption of a child, or placement of a xxxxxx child in their home. Employees will be afforded the same level of benefit continuation for the period of time that the employee is on Paid Parental Leave as if the employee was on active work status. The purpose of Paid Parental Leave is to enable the employee to care for and bond with a newborn or a newly adopted or newly placed child.

Purpose/Objective. The Cities (also the “Parties”) have jointly purchased property on the Deschutes River for the purpose of cooperatively implementing the Deschutes Mitigation strategy that was approved by WDOE. Implementation of that plan is required by water rights issued to Olympia (ROEs CS2-SWC8030, CS2-01105, CS2-SWP10191), Lacey (ROEs G2-29165, G2-29304, G2-30250, G2-30251, G2-30248, G2-30249) and Yelm (XXX G2-29085). While the Cities have jointly completed construction of the Deschutes Mitigation strategy the Cities continue to have joint property management responsibilities. The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the Cities of Olympia, Lacey, and Yelm responsibilities as joint owners of the Deschutes River property and to establish a commitment to jointly develop a mutually agreed to long-term property stewardship and ownership strategy which could include, but is not limited to, reaching a conservation and stewardship agreement and property transfer with a third party.
Purpose/Objective. The City has issued this ITB, on behalf of the Member Jurisdictions, in order to solicit bids from firms that are qualified to provide stations and bicycles. The successful Bidder must strictly adhere to the guidelines presented in this document. Note that each Member Jurisdiction may apply and negotiate their required terms and conditions with the awarded Contractor. For review and consideration and prior to the submittal of bids, each Jurisdiction’s overview of requirements and sample contract is included in this solicitation as attachments labeled Attachment A through Attachment H. Please note that government contracting is very dynamic and purchasing laws, policies, best practices for procurement, purchasing, vendor management, contract management, and compliance are all subject to change. The Attachments provided are provided for the Bidder as an overall guideline of the specific types of additional and or specific expectations that the member jurisdictions may require prior to riding this contract and creating a specific contract between the awarded Contractor(s) and that member jurisdiction. Please note that the member jurisdiction will provide their most up-to-date requirements and specific terms and conditions when riding that contract with the awarded contract and the Contractor(s) and member jurisdiction(s) may negotiate and determine the final acceptable terms and conditions that will allow their member jurisdiction to participate and ride this contract with the awarded Contractor(s). Purpose/Objective. The purpose of this Agreement is for OLYMPIA to act as the lead agency for the project administration and management of the Mottman Road Pedestrian and Street Improvements project in partnership with TUMWATER. OLYMPIA will administer State grant funding for the design and construction of the Project in cooperation with TUMWATER with respect to improvements within the Tumwater Right-of-Way.

Purpose/Objective. The purpose of this Agreement is to allow the City of Olympia (City), through its Fire Department, the Olympia Fire Department (OFD), to provide maintenance and repair services to the City of Tumwater (Tumwater), through its Fire Department, the Tumwater Fire Department (TFD), for Apparatus and other equipment owned and operated by Tumwater. Tumwater does not have sufficient resources to provide such services and desires to have such services performed as set forth below. OFD currently maintains appropriate facilities and sufficient personnel to perform necessary maintenance and repair services and agrees to extend this service to Tumwater under the terms and conditions specified in this Agreement.

This policy will run concurrently with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave, as applicable. Section 2 - Eligibility Eligible employees must meet the following criteria:  Have been employed with the City of Dubuque for at least 12 months (the 12 months do not need to be consecutive).  Have worked at least 1,250 hours during the 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date the leave would begin.  Be a full- or part-time, regular employee (temporary or seasonal employees and interns are not eligible for this benefit). In addition, employees must meet one of the following criteria:  Have given birth to a child.  Be a spouse or committed partner of a woman who has given birth to a child.  Have adopted a child or been placed with a xxxxxx-to-adopt child (in either case, the child must be age 17 or younger). The adoption of a new spouse’s child is excluded from this policy.
