Purpose of this paper. Budgets are a vital instrument for policy implementation, and gender sensitivity in budgets is an important precondition for the achievement of gender equity in basic service delivery. By presenting the experiences of Social Accountability Implementing Partners (SAIPs) which have used the GRB tool, we share insights into the successes and challenges of GRB application, which aimed to achieve fairness in budget allocation, and to bring about improved service delivery based equally on the needs of women and men. The purpose of preparing these ‘lessons from GRB cases studies3’ is therefore to share how SAIPS have used the GRB tool along with other SA tools; whether the GRB tool has helped to address gender specific issues in the budget process; how stakeholders perceived GRB, and which opportunities arose to scale up the use of GRB in the future. This report intends to enhance the capacity of civil society actors to apply gender budget analysis tools in their programming. We hope that lessons and recommendations we present will assist in supporting in the mainstreaming of gender budget initiatives in future SA interventions.

Purpose of this paper. 1.2.1 The purpose of this paper is to obtain comment on the proposed introduction of new arrangements for UoSAs (which will be referred to as ‘distribution agreements’) into Part 12A of the Code.7 1.2.2 The Authority expects the submissions it receives will help it to develop a refined and final proposal, to be consulted on in 2016. 1.2.3 Section 39(1)(c) of the Act requires the Authority to consult on any proposed amendment to the Code and the regulatory statement. Section 39(2) provides that the regulatory statement must include a statement of the objectives of the proposed amendment, an evaluation of the costs and benefits of the proposed amendment, and an evaluation of alternative means of achieving the objectives of the proposed amendment. The regulatory statement is set out in part 4 of this paper. 1.2.4 The proposed amendment is attached as Appendix B. The purpose of preparing these ‘lessons from PETS cases studies’ is therefore to share how SAIPS have used the PETS tool; to demonstrate how the PETS tool has helped to address budget execution issues, and to identify opportunities to scale up the use of PETS in the future. As such, this paper also intends to enhance the capacity of civil society actors to apply public expenditure tracking tools in their programming. We hope that lessons and recommendations we present will assist in supporting in the engagement of citizens in expenditure tracking in future SA interventions. Gross negligence by Finductive is understood to mean: • communication of false information; • failure to comply with an obligation of this Contract; • the nomination of a special mediator and insolvency administrator to initiate rehabilitation or liquidation proceedings. iii. In the event of a modification to applicable regulations and their interpretation by the relevant regulatory authority that may affect the ability of Finductive to provide Payment Services, this Contract will automatically be terminated. The Account Holder may no longer send Payment Orders after the effective termination date. Payment Transactions initiated before the termination date might be affected by the termination request if the regulatory authority prohibits Finductive from processing any Payment Transactions. iv. The termination of this Contract will result in the permanent closure of the Payment Account. The closure of a Payment Account will not give rise to any compensation, regardless of any possible damage caused by said closure. The Account Holder is not authorised, unless explicitly authorised by Finductive, to open another Payment Account at Finductive. Any Payment Account opened in violation of this provision may be immediately closed by Finductive, without notice. v. Any funds available in Payment Accounts which are being closed in accordance with this Contract will be debited to the Account Holder following written instructions by the Account Holder’s legal representatives, unless Finductive is prohibited to do so by law. vi. Finductive reserves the right to bring legal action to repair the damage suffered due to a breach of the Contract.

  • Operation of this Agreement This Agreement shall take effect on and from the date of this Agreement. The parties must execute and enter into this Agreement as soon as possible after the Development Consent is granted and prior to the issue of any Construction Certificate that relates to any building work, other than demolition, excavation, piling, shoring and ancillary work for construction purposes including site hoardings and temporary site sheds that relates to works contained in DA-152/2021/B.

  • Performance of this Agreement Buyer shall have duly performed or complied with all of the obligations to be performed or complied with by it under the terms of this Agreement on or prior to the Closing Date.
